The ability to switch between Cynder and Spyro, and co-op

Wouldn't that just be SW-EET?
Certain things only Spyro could do, others would be up to Cynder.
It would also be nice if it was a drop-out drop-in co-op game.

Yeah, Spyro's first game in this new series was a solo game, and it's most likely to stay that way. (Just like with the other series.)
But imagine playing as Cynder! :-P

Yeah... Or maybe you can unlock the ability to switch between Cynder/Spyro once you beat the game. That way it's still a solo game, but with a cool unlockable...
(It wouldn't be like a Hero's tail. Cynder would have her very own voice/attacks.)

A Co-op would be nice and it would be nice to play as Cynder. unlike A hero-tails it wouldn'rt be fot short periods. it was nice playing as different characters but it was just too short. Have half the game you play as Spyro, the other half you play as Cynder, you can't beat the game without playing as both of them..

A Spyro and Cynder co-op game would be apocalyptical. That's an idea that transcends the human mind so much it would leave everyone speechless with their mouths hanging down to the floor for days unend. With Spyro and Cynder having their own breath attacks, melee attacks, finishing moves and super finishing moves, they would create an unstoppable, unbeatable, irresistable, and irrefutable team that nobody or nothing can match. I bet you agree with me, don't you?

It'd be a lot of major work if that were to happen. The best thing we can wish for is the storlyine to revolve around multiple characters, so that the missions would switch between characters from time to time (kinda like Breath of Fire 4...)

yeah exactly. But I'd prefer manual switching instead of the game and missions switching the characters for you because then you have more gameplay freedom and you'll be satisfied with the character you want to use. Kinda like the drakengard 2 game where if you switch your weapon with another weapon of a different type, then you switch characters. It could be like spyro, ember, flame, and cynder having their own breath/melee attacks and you can manually switch between them, which will give you the environmental advantage.

Having witnessed the idea of a co-op feature through Viewtiful Joe 2, implementing it into a Spyro title could be difficult, however that should't stop the idea of hoping to play as Cynder regardless. Yet even if she does get incorporated, I'm hoping at best that she isn't treated as a "skin", as shown through the additional character skins through A Hero's Tail and the DS version of A New Beginning.

I really doubt that cynder will be treated as a skin as she is a key character in this game because she was the dark master's pawn and spyro will need cynder's help to defeat the dark master.

Yeah! usually that's the case; After you beat the game, new characters are unlocked. But I hope that when we choose a different character, we don't run through the same old story.
