Anime thread

Well, Anime is quite popular nowadays and a lot of my friends convinced me to watch them. Now, I'm starting to feel the craze! Haha^^
Anyway, here are the Anime I watched in no order(I haven't watched all of the episodes though) :

Ginga Densetsu Weed (Seen all episodes.)
Bleach (Epic fail to watching more than 20 episodes from the VERY begining! -___-)
Naruto (WHAT EPISODE AM I UP TO?!)
Shugo Chara (Lost track...)
Wolf's Rain (Seen all episodes.)
Ginga Nagareboshi Gin (Lost track...)
Pokemon (Don't know if I've seen it all. NOPE!)
Bakugan (I found it LAME, so I stopped watching.)
Digimon (I have a low memory profile!)

I think that's it...

DragonBall Z is one of the most overrated, boring and stupidest animes I've even seen!

Every episode and saga is the same! A new villain appears, the gang trains for 50 epizoses, then they charges up for 50 episodes and then Goku fires a giant apocaliptic fire ball of death and the villain is done REPEAT!

The old DragonBall when Goku is still a kid is far superior.......

Seriously why do people like it that much?

Aside from that I started watching Shigofumi...interesting anime, I'm really liking it....

I'm almost finished with it....my friend recommended me Gankutsuou-The Count of Monte Cristo since he knows I love the art style of Mononoke....

I think I'm going to watch it next...or I might start Ergo Proxy....

Because not everyone has your tastes. I do agree that the old version of Dragonball was better and GT is the pits....but DBZ is just something sweet to just throw on and waste an afternoon. If you have nothing better to do anyways.

Yeah but still anyone can see that it's the same thing over and over again....the only good parts are from beginning until the end of the Friza saga after that it's all the same.........I don't see the point.....
I gave up watching around the Boo saga.....didn't even bother with GT....

Also I decided I'm watching Gankutsuou! I mean check out this art style!

The Buu saga wasn't that bad...and most of the fans do know it's the same thing over and over again lol...just with different characters and abilities and whatever. I was mostly in it just for the fighting scenes and such. GT was god awful though.....

Has anyone heard of Android Kikaider? There's only 17 episodes, but to me it's totally awesome! ... And depressing. ^^;; I used to stay up 'til 11 PM to watch it on Adult Swim when it aired in '03. big_smile

If you ask me the less episodes the better big_smile

Around 20 episodes or so is perfect since you can never get the same effect with the short series and with an epicly long series...the short one are a LOT more effective....the only long anime that is good is One Piece....

Also anyone seen Ima, Soko ni Iru Boku a.ka. Now and then here and there?

That was the saddest thing I ever saw, my heart cried while watching it...

Still the most depressing anime ever is Evangelion....after watching it you won't have the will to get out of bed for like 5 weeks XD

Star Wars: Clone Wars is THE BEST of all anime shows. It has action, drama, humor and suspense all in one, something that just doesn't air in other shows. smile

It is far from the best anime show out there...then agian I don't even see that as anime.....but it is far far from ever being the best.

Star Wars: Clone Wars is THE BEST of all anime shows. It has action, drama, humor and suspense all in one, something that just doesn't air in other shows.

Tha is not even an anime it's an american cartoon and even if it was an anime it still wouldn't be the best. There are a lot of series that have great detailed plot and drama and suspense..

Have you seen Sukai Kurora(The Sky Crawlers)? Or Berserk? Or Ergo Proxy? How about Ghost in the Shell? No? Well then you don't know anything....

This is not directed to anyone but I really hate when people only watch like animes that air on TV like Digimon(which I'm a fan of), Pokemon, Naruto and other stuff and then think it's like the most epic thing ever....... they don't even know what true anime is.......

My fav anime is Bleach. It is also my fav amnga. BLEACH IS THE BEST ANIME AND MANGA IN MY OPINION WATCH IT! I said "WATCH IT" onyl because the anime is better then the manga.

Does anyone wanna hear abotu fullmetal fantasy (I went to MegaCon 2009)? The live-action movie on FUllMetal Alchemist. You can only see it at anime cons and people weren't alowed to film it so i can tell you about it! The actors were the voice actors of each character or thats what Vic (Ed's voice actor) said! He's such a nice person. He singed my cosplay--WOAH! I'm sorry for braging os much.

Everyone can hit me with rocks now. Big rocks. ANd does anyone have any anime to reccomend to me?

i agree with you! mew mew power stunk and i love a la mode berri was so awesome in it. have have you read the manga version of tokyo mew mew not a la mode but the one before it it is very good

Well if you look at the eyes it was based on anime.

Anway, Naruto ,DBZ and digimon were kick *bleep*.

through he all know if naruto went Nine tailed fox everyone would get thier butts wooped (not goku but he probably have a bit of trouble)

Yeah but animes are Japanese cartoons made by Japanese pepole for the Japanese market, Clone Wars is nothing out of those three....
If you go by that logic Avatar is also an anime but it is not.....

Ffffffffffff...Goku can kick Naruto's ninetailed *bleep* in a few seconds big_smile

I have the first volume of Tokyo Mew Mew in manga. But I can't seem to find the second one or have enough money. sad
