Re: Exploring deeper into Spyro
That is yet to be proved that the planet did or did not reform in DotD. It is possible that small portions of the planet were not recovered and caused it to decrease little in size. I also ignoring the crossover event in Spyro: Orange and Crash: Purple since they are on completely separate planets.
Oh yeah...I forgot to mention that my theory of magic is also based on the things said in YotD.

Re: Exploring deeper into Spyro
That would make sense, but its still interesting when other theorys are put forward. I dunno how the magic works to be honest in TLOS really

Re: Exploring deeper into Spyro
Well it's always possible that magic is a result of dragons combining their spirits with nature and such...thus providing an effective router for magic's place in the environment.

Re: Exploring deeper into Spyro
So like an electrical circuit, but in magic terms really. So that would make the dragons the power source and nature what links the magic to other things?

Re: Exploring deeper into Spyro
Could be. I'm not good at coming up with theories that don't really matter lol...but that's prolly what I would go with.

Running for his life from Dingos in the Australian outback most likely lol...but that's just what I think. Maybe that's how he gets ideas.

Re: Exploring deeper into Spyro
I don't recall seeing any armadillos in Cliff Town, just iguanas or something.
Anybody thought of the locale residents in the dragon realms? I mean the ones besides the gnorcs in Spyro 1. Yes, they are ALL gnorcs...except for Toasty. He was just some random rebellious fat sheep. lol Anyway, there rarely have been appearances of other species so that a point of interest. Maybe it's because of the "peace and quiet" they wanted to have.

Re: Exploring deeper into Spyro
Yeah, because they got sent to the other side of the world, where not many races existed, however in ETD and AHT there were more races about in the dragons relms.

Re: Exploring deeper into Spyro
I suppose so since I never played ETD. I think that either:
A. The dragons eventually moved back.
B. The other races moved near them for their need of magic for their survival/lifestyle.
C. Spyro visited lands outside the dragon realms.
I think my second and third choice would make more sense. I recall the location in AotR (Attack of the Rhynocks) was based around Dragon Shores so the dragons probably didn't expand very far out that I know of.
P.S. I'm wondering when Spyrorocks is going to take down the Christmas-style Spyrofourms logo in the top-left corner. He must be pretty busy.

Re: Exploring deeper into Spyro
B makes more sense in my mind as it was said in YOTD that the inhabitants needed some more magic back, however also i think some dragons might of moved back to the forgotten relms.
