Re: Ravage rider would be a noob ON CSS

Interesting title for a topic lol.....but yeah he was annoying and such......I don't really remember how I beat him....but you really have to be alert and quick......the bosses in general for TEN were quite a little challenge.

Re: Ravage rider would be a noob ON CSS

It was kinda unfair that he could kill you in one override... especially when he came from behind.

Re: Ravage rider would be a noob ON CSS

The flames coming from the sides when he got low on health... that was what sent him from tough to cheap for me. If you didn't react immediately and move away properly, he'd either still run you down or take off half you health and he did a drive-by torching.

Re: Ravage rider would be a noob ON CSS

Ravage rider was where it was most useful to me, because then you could get a bit ahead of that enemy.

Re: Ravage rider would be a noob ON CSS

That makes no sense lol...you could never be ahead of him 0.o....you just had to keep avoiding his path....and guessing his direction...

Re: Ravage rider would be a noob ON CSS

Didn't have any real uses for me. The game overall was not very good and the whole concept was kinda wasted.

Re: Ravage rider would be a noob ON CSS

^Maybe they should have done it VJ style, so slow motion = auto-dodge of epicness.

Hmm, actually that might overdo it. But the point stands they could have done more with it... kind of disappointing.

Re: Ravage rider would be a noob ON CSS

Sounds like a good thing to do in slow motion, however the time was good still anyway.

Re: Ravage rider would be a noob ON CSS

Well obviously the concept of slowing down time is awesome to a gamer...as to get through difficult situations and such....but for some reason it just didn't fit into this game. I never had to use it except for all those stupid situations where plateforms were moving slow and such.....and that's not very exciting......in Prince of Persia it was awesome because you could slow down...speed up....rewind....all that stuff to beat the crap out of enemies.

Re: Ravage rider would be a noob ON CSS

The mess with time mechanics made VJ awesome...
punching the stuffing out of an enemy = ok
using mach speed 3 and obliterating an roomful of enemies in a light-speed volley of punches and kicks = win

I wish they'd replaced the Dragon Time in TEN with something else... I can't think of anything at the moment though.

Maybe something like DotD's fury mode (except element specific)
