Yes. Because I say so. But not on Violet or Ember (though Ember would totally crush on her if they lived in the same universe). big_smile

Canonically, Cynder probably isn't into girls. She's the only girl dragon there is, she's demonstrably straight (refer to her final line in DotD for proof), and kids' games don't deal with sexual orientation issues (just like every other kind of media in our society, whee!).

For crack pairings, though, there's nothing better than Cynder/any girl you want. I'm quite fond of Cynder/Elora myself. big_smile

Thank you, FB. smile Yes, Cynder/Elora is one of my crack pairings, just like Gaul/Elora (or Gaul/anyone, I suppose big_smile ). All of my actual support goes for Spyro/Elora because it's pretty much canon, it's weird, and it's really sweet.

Also, Cynder/Elora > Cynder/Ember. Cynder/Ember is soooo boring (sorry C/Em fans; I've had to draw a lot of this couple and I've grown to loathe it almost as much as I loathe Ember herself).

Well unfortunately I've grown old enough to completely forget the game that Elora's in (if I even played it at all) which means I don't know what you're talking about when you say it's basically canon. Nevertheless, to each their own. And I'm sure you didn't HAVE to draw Cynder/Ember, if you hate it simply don't do it, draw for yourself, not your fans.

I do draw for myself, but my fans are sweet and, since I do art as a business, it helps to get the word out. It's also a personal challenge to finish something I started, even if it's a bit of a chore to do it.

As for Spyro/Elora...get thee to a PS1, post haste! Elora was in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage and Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon (but only as a cameo). It was never outright stated in either games that they were an item, but Elora did kiss him and the end of YotD suggests she's still open to a relationship with him once he gets past his "Love is icky" stage.

Well I suppose I know what you mean there, except I don't draw, I write. Sometimes it does feel a chore and I can't say I'll stop just because I don't want to disapoint them. And I feel the same about you about finishing what one starts.

And I do believe I have Spyro 2 and 3 in a cupboard somewhere with a very old PS1. I might just dig it out to see this kiss for myself but I suspect it was nothing more than a simple peck, nothing special behind it. So until then I'll just have to take your word for it.

I have this one fan-character I've had for a really long time, since Spyro's PS1 days. She's a pegasus and I never really did much with her until now when I thought it would be fun to bring her back and draw her more often. Then my friends and I were joking around one night in our chatroom and somehow came up with hooking that character up with my version of Cynder. (Meaning not the actual LoS Cynder, just a re-established version I was working on that was meant for the Insomniac universe) I have no idea why but I know it had something to do with a black/white thing, and keeping up with the different-species-hooking-up trend in those old games. Also, everyone had agreed that Cynder would make a really good lezzie for some reason. (must be her dom jewelry or something) Anyway, that pegasus character can be seen in my sig.

So that's pretty much it. Thanks to that conversation I now can't stop seeing Cynder in that light. (this is actually a good thing by the way, it makes her more interesting to work with)

Oh, Cynder is SO a domme and she makes a more convincing lezzie than most characters. Regardless of her canon orientation, she is a ton of fun to make crack girl pairings with. XD

Spyro's shocked look is priceless.

In the epilogue, we see Spyro and Elora riding through the Tunnel of Love. He missed his chance there, though: Elora was going to kiss him again but he was having an ADD moment and not paying attention. XD

Well...alright then, I guess I can see the potential, but I still don't think it would be taken too seriously. At first I did think Elora was just being friendly but after the second video you provided me with I began to think she was being too persistant to just be interested in a quick visit from Spyro. But I see what you mean by his 'Love is icky' stage, he didn't seem impressed.

Plus I don't doubt the fun that could be had with using Cynder in a crack pairing, her personality is in such a state that if you tried to use her I can see a lot of humour in it. I'd try it myself but I doubt my abilites to pull it off properly in the way I want it to be percieved; crack pairings can get out of hand fairly quickly.

Also, Elora/Spyro tidbit: Elora was created with the intention of being Spyro's love interest. The idea wasn't used in Spyro 2 because the team thought it might be seen as a bit too weird at the time, but it would appear that it was never canceled entirely.

Well I may just try my hand at one, but only a short one, I have enough on my plate without having to be worried about another story project. A Cynder/Ember one sounds easy enough, but I may be able to do a different pairing should I get a decent idea.

And yes, I can see that it mustn't have been cancelled entirely. I suspect they changed their mind late in development and couldn't remove all the signs time. Then again, a dragon/fawn pairing isnt that much different to a cheetah/rabbit pairing but then again, children have very simple minds, they'd go by looks not food chains.

I think they were planning to have a bit more Spyro/Elora in YotD but shelved those ideas in favor of making the focus Bianca/Hunter.

Elora/Cynder > Cynder/Ember. big_smile If you want a good sub for a domme, though, Ember's perfect. Teena might work, too, if you really want to mix things up.

Well I'm afraid I also don't know who Teena is either. I grew out of Spyro until TLoS trilogy captured me again, I haven't really had time to go over the past games again. I'd try my hands at Elora/Cynder but without knowing much about her then I believe I'd fail miserably, so my options are limited. Someone suggested a Spyro/Flame crack pairing once...I don't think I could do that well either but again, if I think up a workable idea than I'll give it a shot.
As a mod though you shouldn't be letting us get off topic here, won't you get some sort of disciplinary action for encouraging off topic behaviour? wink

Well as I can't get into any trouble for following a mod then I can go forth and suggest a Cynder/Saphira pairing. Of course it would have to be dark Cynder and I suspect my readers will be utterly dumbfounded that I started another crossover story concerning the two but I'd only be doing it as a bit of fun, nothing too serious. I couldn't do a Cynder/Elora or Teena pairing because I don't know enough about them, I could get away with an Ember pairing but my best bet and probably more successful pairing would be an Cynder/Saphira pairing.

Yeah man I pretty much agree with you on that one. I don't have anything against people doing it I just don't see the overall value in it. I thought that it was nothing romanticly driven when she gave him that friendly peck.....but yeah.......the humor is def in there.....and I'm sure that if you do come out with some type of story with it then you will def make it worth reading time lol...
