Just got GIMP...Need some help using it...

So, yeah.
I just got GIMP. And, I love it!
But, I'm kinda clueless on how to use it. XD
Could someone help me a bit?

What exactly do you need help with, spyros#1fan? I've had GIMP for a while, so I know how to use it pretty well.

I think that the most fun way is just to play around with it for a while, and see what all the different tools do. But that's just me. I could help too if you have any questions.

Well, I guess with the:
Scale tool
Shear tool
Perspective tool
Flip tool
Rotate tool
Alighment tool
Measure tool
Paths tool.

I know what most of them do, just don't know how to do it.

Most of those ones you mentioned I never use, but hopefully this is helpful....

Scale tool: Image > Scale Image

Flip tool: Image > Transform > (rotate however you want)

Rotate tool: Just click and drag the image until it's rotated the way you want it.

Paths tool: This one is helpful; it draws the lines for you so you don't have to keep moving your mouse. Just draw the path by clicking where you want your lines to go (if you click and drag the lines between the dots, you can curve the line) and press "Stroke Path" on the toolbar when you're done.

As for why you can't upload a picture, it's probably because you saved it in xcf. Try png, jpg, or gif.
