It can't be true. Malefor is generations old and Cynder was born when his body and soul was trapped within Convexity. She was nothing but an egg then....so I highly doubt the two are related in any way.

What? How could anyone even come up with this idea? It's not even remotely possible.

1. Malefor was dead a thousand years before Cynder was born.

2. The games imply repeatedly that Cynder would have been an ordinary dragon if not for the influence of darkness.

3. Malefor in no way hints that she's a blood relative of any sort, not even a descendant.

"Retarded" used that way can also be offensive to well, the retarded.

I understand where you're coming from in that "a word only has the meaning the speaker intends" because I call my gay friends "fa****" all the time as well as the N word to my friends with darker skin and I make those words' history magically vanish and make them sound like endearing satires. They use them along with me too. But I never use them around strangers or acquaintances I'm not fully comfortable with.

Anyway, if someone is offended by such words it helps to be polite and explain yourself rather than acting defensive. Not telling you, specifically, but it's good advice for anyone.
