Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

I could start my own topic, 'Is Spyro made of Sponge?' Then I could spread my theory and be on topic at all times! But I have just decided that a contender to the Sponge theory is the Marshmellow theory. It's soft, so would cushion the impacts from walls and the floor and also pops back into shape should he be squashed by an enemy therefore making Spyro dent proof. Having him made out of marshmellow also solves the water absorption problem. As far as I know Marshmellow doesnt absorb water, they just gain a slimy film. That slimy coating is seen as what looks like glistening wet scales! So, I now either accept that Spyro is made out of Sponge, Marshmellow, or maybe, just possibly, has hard scales to perevent damage...but I doubt the last one.

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

How could they have evolved when they are still freaking kids pretty much lol....if you are in reference to the original games....I'm pretty sure that Spyro simply is able to adsorb the falls much like a cat can...

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

We're talking about the dragon race as a whole. Over the years they evolved to be able to come away from a fall or headbutt against a wall by either developing hard scales, or soft spongy scales to cushion the impacts...or being made out of marshmallows.

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

Well I'm not going to debate anything about dragons or their freaking body make up......I'm not that into dragons lol....I simply enjoy them for what they represent.

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

And I'm simply having a little fun, you don't honestly think I care that much about whether dragons are made out of scales, sponges, or marshmallows do you? Because if you do then I've seriously damaged the image you had of me before I started posting on this site lol

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

lol but its still on topic, they absorb it anyway to be able to survive, liek those birds with claws on their wings in case they fall out of trees, and they have evolved to not get hurt as much

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

Well I can see them adsorbing the falls and such much like a cat can when they fall from a high height.

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

I don't doubt other theories of how they could survive falls and damage and what not, each one makes sense so I can't downright disagree with them. The only thing I can do is defend my own arguments, I can't make everyone believe them when there are other's to chose from.

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

Well I was considering sending the theory to Sierra just for a bit of fun lol you know, just to make them laugh. I probably won't because it would be a waste of time, but you never know, I could send it and then they could accept it as canon...of course I doubt that they would lol.

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

Lol well once I have enough evidence I'll send it off, they might invite me to their studios to work on the next game...well you can't blame one for being hopeful...

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

Well not good enough for some people, in the poll I started I've still got four people voting against them being marshmallow lol but I think we've drifted a little off topic here. I think it's safe to say that we've all pretty much proved that Spyro is dent proof, whether its because the developers made him that way, because he has hard scales and bone structure, or because he's made out of marshmallow.

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

yep thats ture, its going to boil down to mainly what the developers did when they made spyro

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

Well I did say I'd only do it to give them a laugh, I'm not that delusional to think that they'd actually believe it or accept the theory lol would be hilarious if they did though, all thouse poor Spyro fans having to believe that there heroe was made out of Marshmallow lol.

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?

Crazy guy in Britain? Yeah, I could live with that. As long as I'm only crazy for the marshmallow thing and any other strange yet sensible theory then yes, could definately live with it.
