Look at it this way

Woods voice acting and emotion wasn't that great for LOS

while in happyfeet and LOTR strangely it was better then LOS

So in a way Sierra is retarded.

Heck i rather have the voice of 343 guilty spark in LOS

I don't get why everyone complains about Elijah Wood's acting in LoS. He's actually a very good fit for Spyro and I thought he did just fine once he hit his stride a little way into ANB. He also got continuously better as the series went on.

And yet, almost no one complains about David Spade's performance when I'm pretty sure he was drunk for at least part of it and actually had a serious line flub in the game itself.

Here here, Elijah Wood's voice acting was absolutely fine by me. I looked back at the older games and couldn't stand listening to the old Spyro's voices; they were far too...the right word escapes me but I'm sure you understand what I'm trying to get at.

I enjoyed Tom Kenny as Spyro in RR and YotD (and I forgive him in EtD; even Stewart Copeland wasn't trying that hard with his contributions in EtD). But then, I always enjoy Tom Kenny. XD

Elijah Wood fits the part of the new Spyro: soft-spoken, gentle, kindly, but firm when he needs to be.

Well the voice acting for LoS was one of the various aspects that brought me back to Spyro, which suprised me more than anyone. Sure, it could have done with a tad more emotion, especially with Cynder, but I'm happy with what was put out. I suppose it's a little unfair of me to ridicule the past voice actors...I can't really remember them much, the only one I do remember clearly was the one from A Hero's Tail, that was the one I was referring to above.

Well no, I guess I just sort of grew out of it by the third game, it didn't help that my saved files suddenly started being wierd and stranded me in one of the realms. I tried again with EtD but then the flying of an alien spacship just sort of ruined it all for me. I missed ANB but after reading a little about the plot I bought TEN and was then hooked again.

And we are all glad to have you here FB big_smile .....and yeah I do agree with Wood's voice.....I thought he was perfect for Spyro.....and I didn't think the past actors were bad...they just didn't really have to say anything complicated lol....which is exactly how Spyro was then....so Kenny fit it perfectly.

I thought Tom Kenny perfectly suited Spyro's adventurous personality! Elijah Wood was okay too for the Legend's generous Spyro with his "easy to take advantage of his generosity" persona. The only black eye for Spyro in terms of voice actors *shudders* Jess Harnell! 0.0;

I like to think that he didn't, spur of the moment confessions just don't do it for me. You could tell that they had feelings for each other but having her say that at the end just seemed like it was rushed in a little, I reckon they could have done it before they went in to face Malefor, had a real discussion about it. That way we could have had a 'I love you too' from Spyro instead of the 'I wonder if he heard her' debate. It was loud down there and he was a little bit busy at the time, I wouldn't blame him if he didn't hear her.

i like the voice of spyro from the first one, but elijah wood does fit in more with the LOS and hopefully the film if he does it, or is doing it.

He better do it for the film, I hate it when they have to change voice actors when the games already have a decent voice. It's not like we need his body for anything, just his voice, so really he has no reason not to do it, unless he's greedy and asks for more money than the producers are willing to give him, in which case shame on him. They'd probably change Cynder's voice actor, however, I certainly hope so.

Nah i don't think Elijah Wood is that kind of person, and he said in the inerview in ANB that he enjoyed doing it, so i think he would of enjoyed doing the film if he did do it.

Then let's hope he does, I don't think he gets a lot of acting roles lately, at least I think he doesn't, so he shouldn't be too busy not to be able to do it. Hell, if it gives him a chance to go to a premier he might jump at the chance lol ok, being a bit cruel on him there so I apologise to him, I have no idea if he has been to any premiers lately.

No i dont think hes done much acting recently either, mabye theatre or voice acting like this for LOS. But hopefully he is doing the film otherwise its a major blow to the film already, and ive just realsied we have gone way off topic which means the next post will probaly be by Stormy telling us to stay on topic, i think that spyro does love cynder back but wasnt able to say so as he was in the middle of a fury

Nope, Stormy ain't next, I am lol I think it's obvious that he loves her back, in fact I think he loved her long before she loved him. The evidence starts from the very beginning of TEN when he pleads with her to not go, after that everything he does is for her.

Yep thats true, you can also see when they are falling just before malefor shoves them against the wall of the volcano in DOTD, them look at each other and smile at each other in that sort of love way.

Exactly. Even though he never actually says it Spyro obviously loves her. He didn't want her to leave the temple; he went out looking for her on his way to the Chronicler; he refused to fight her on the arena ship; once he reached the Chronicler he insisted on seeing her book and knowing if he could save her and even went as far as to put himself in danger to go to the mountain of Malefor to save her. After that, he fought Gaul to save her and then encased her in a crystal with him. Then all throughout DotD he did things for her, protected her from nasty hermits and not to mention the immortal 'You've left me nothing to fight for' line. I think the evidence is pretty conclusive on the subject as to whether he loves her back.
