Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
Great timing on her part btw... it's a wonder Spyro didn't accidently destroy everything else.
Oh great, my lighthouse is on fire again, be right back...

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
Well.....I guess one of the theories is that Spyro did hear what she said....and so used that power that she granted him....aka love or whatnot....to actually harness his fury attack as to save the earth and bring it back together again....but that's just another theory.

It was brought back together, but however there were some pieces floating about still.

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
If figure the world would have survived but Spyro and Cynder wouldn't have if she hadn't been with him in the end. And, like I said, it's a given that he loves her back, though there were a lot more hints of that in ANB/TEN than in DotD (which is reasonable; in DotD Spyro was dealing with a lot of personal issues and internal conflict).

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
There are a few though hints towards spyro and cynder, i can't think of any right now to be honest so yeah you are right there aren't that many, apart form spyro calling cynder a genius, but thats just a compliment for the destroying the dragon dam idea.

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
lol i wonder where on here you have been slow before cynderspyro..........lol just joking around. Well at least people managed to work it out before DOTD, i wonder if anyone was shocked by what happened in DOTD when it was the end bit.
LOL, seriously, the ending to DOTD was so predictable. If you were shocked by it, that is seriously crazy. The endings to a lot of games are quite predictable, and this game is definetley one of them. Not that I don't think the love thing between Cynder and Spyro will definetley work out in the next game in the series <_< .

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
The ending was predictable....but I'm glad it turned out that way. Even though it would be pretty funny and interesting if they included some kind of female competition in the future. That usually makes for some interesting story moments ![]()

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
If you ask me, SpyroxCynder seems a bit too cliché, but then again, the Legend trilogy was like a huge parody of the Lord of the Rings anyway,

I couldn't agree more.

And I agree as well...but I still enjoyed it so I also disagree to a point...but that's just me. Everything has cliches no matter what.

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
Cliches became such because we like them, and they aren't always a bad thing.
LoS has been, from the start, so epic it hurt (and I mean "epic" in the literary sense, not in the Internet "lol, awesome!" sense
). We've seen this story before (especially in LotR and Star Wars and in a lot of our classic myths) but that doesn't make it any less enjoyable.

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
So long as the characters are presented well and the story in general continues to please I couldn't care less how many cliches are involved in it. I don't know why some people can't stand them as much lol....but again it's impossible to find something that doesn't have a type of cliche in it...

Ummmm....yeah that's pretty much the problem. No realy point in complaining about something that isn't going to make a difference anyways...

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
Ugh. I hate the old "most ideas have been used" line. It's a big fat lie. There are still many ideas untapped, it's just that too many people give up on trying to find them too easily.
As for the LoS cliches, I rather enjoyed seeing the epic story told with dragons. It was cute.
And the developers set out to make a set of games that was like a movie. They succeeded in that. A lot of people forget that point.

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
I think that the one thing that sort of killed the story for me was some of the voice acting... and a lack of emotion on that matter. I'M TALKING TO YOU, CYNDER! *brick'd* x.x;

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
Oh man, yes. Christina Ricci was terrible. There was one scene that would have made me cry if it'd been done by anyone competent, but Ricci's "acting" just killed the moment. Why did they get rid of Cree Summer and Mae Whitman? Both of them did a good job in ANB and TEN. Oiy.

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
Personally I didn't like Mae Whitman very much. It's probably because of the fact that I didn't like Avatar very much... and her voice seemed a bit weird to place with a young, hatchling-esque Cynder. And she was also TERRIBLY underused, so one couldn't get a TRUE feel for her. Same goes for Cree Summer. She sounded PERFECT as Dark Cynder, but she had so few lines, you couldn't really get a feel for it. ;~;

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
Having heard a great deal of Cree Summer's various voice acting roles, I know she would have been just fine as young Cynder. Mae Whitman did well enough and she at least emoted well. Both of them are better than Ricci, but that's not exactly difficult to be. Personally, Cree is my favorite Cynder. She's a talented woman and she fit the role very nicely.

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
Cree has done a lot of various works for many animated series and movies....basically as veteran as you can get for voice actors.....Whitman was also experienced in this field with shows such as Avatar: The Last Airbender.....and American Dragon: Jake Long.......but Ricci had no experience at all......so overall it was a bad choice.....I didn't mind her voice so much....I liked it.....she just didn't know how to manipulate the emotions of the moment with it.

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
Exactly. There's a big difference between acting and voice acting. A studio will be better served if they hire a pro VA than if they hire an actor with no VA experience. But most studios don't seem to realize that no one cares who's voicing what and that they'd save a butt-load of money if they just hired voice actors. Oiy.

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
Hence the root of the problem lol.....I would kill for a chance like that.....putting my voice into something to make the character come alive through my own means. It's too bad that some can't really seem to grasp that side of the imagination.

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
As someone who does creative things for a living, I can tell you that for a lot of people it's just a job. A good VA will put her best into any job, though, and many of them love their work even if they don't always know anything about the characters they're giving voice to.

Re: Does LOS spyro love cynder back
Well I have always found that someone who can use their imagination to become a better person is someone I enjoy the company of. You can really better yourself by finding the appropriate balance between both fantasy and reality....you have to control it.....but don't be afraid to let loose and slip into it.....it's something that has really helped me cope with some real life situations....and overall it has helped me become a better person by being able to see the good in just about anything.
So I can say that if I ever got the situation where I could put my imagination to good use by such means....I would gladly jump on it....because I see it as a great gift and not a burden...and I'm thankful for it.
