I need your help! Something is wrong with my dog!

My dog, Lucy, came up onto our porch this morning, shaking violently. We got her warm and setled, but she wont drink or eat. My sister googled what was happeneing, and what she got was mostly seizures. But if it was, it would've happened ten minutes, because that was how long she was shaking. Now she has stopped, but it breathing hard. Any ideas?

Right the next bit of text you are about to see will sound very dumb and stupid to some.

My dog was exactly the same on the day my mum got bucked off her horse and broke her arm and pelvis. He always acts up like that when something bad is going to happen. It is really odd....
It could be that but don't worry, it's highly likely not going to be that.

If you are worried about her, take her to a vet.

Your not the only one, my dog did that when the cupboard door at school landed on my head, but anyway she seemed worried to me so thats what i reckon your dog is doing, its worried about soemthing, so its either that or go to the vet to see what they say.

The Vet is closed today!
But...shes doing a bit better...I think that we are going to take her tommorrow.

if she did, and just to be sure, give her some milk. its the best thing that will wipe the poison from her bloodstream.

Well dogs usually have dry noses when they are ill so your dog has something i think. But mabye the dog will recover by itself as you have said its getting better.

No i didn't say that, what i meant was that it is a sign your dog is ill, but as you said she is getting better you shouldn't have anything to worry about i think.

Hey, closed today, just take her tommorow. Get her medicine made especially for dogs or get a prescription from the vet tommorow?

Well, she ate two pieces of cheese, and went outside a while. I think she is doing better.

Well, we'll just wait until tommorrow. She ate an entire bowl of Dog Food...I don't think there will be any need to take her to the Vet now. big_smile

Your dog might have Liver Cancer.....hope she lives other wise you'll find your self in my spot, and its not a fun spot I'll tell ya that.

I doubt it, if the dog is eating again then it shouldn't be liver cancer.

Um....I have....been in your spot....
I had a dog....His name was Sampson. The poor boy was abondoned when his owners left. He left the house and got hit by a car, and his leg was permanitly injured.
We rescued him from the pound. And, he was safe for about a year...But, We came home one day, and my Grandparents said that he had been shot by a neighbor of ours.
Oh, but he was tough, he lived.
Not soon after that, he was diagnosed with something....We weren't sure what.
Anyways, I guess I hadn't noticed he had been gone a while. My Mother told me in the car one afternoon, that he had died from some kind of disease, maybe Cancer.
Bawled for days on in, without any stop. Even through Softball Practice.

sorry to hear that, my cat died in 2005 because of a stroke, i knew her all my life, but she had a good run but i still miss her.

My first dog died a few years back. was crying like crazy. And my grandma's dog died in 2007 I wanted to cry but I tried to hold the tears back. I miss them both so much I was very close to my grandma's dog. I am happy your dog is ok spyros#1fan.
