Spyro and Harry Potter

When I first played the new Spyro series, the story reminded me a lot of harry potter. Theres a ton of similarities:

There is a disaster caused by the dark master wiping out other dragons and eggs.

Ignitus (Hagrid) takes young pre-hatched Spyro and leaves him to be adopted.

An unexplainable event makes Spyro realise that he is different, a.k.a he breathes fire, which is similar to when Harry potter made the glass dissapear at the zoo.

Spyro then comes of age and finds out he's a dragon from Ignitus (Hagrid) and attends a sort of dragon school.

Sparx is kinda like Ron, goofy, sarcastic, slightly cowardly.

Spyro learns to fly.

Cynder could be seen as a sort of Sirius black. Spyro's hearing bad stuff about her right until finding out that the two are actually related in some way.

Dark Master is clearely Voldermort, he tried to kill spyro early but failed.

I prefer Spryo to Harry potter ANY day, but this just occured to me. You could say it was one of my first impressions of the games

Interesting parallels there. I'm a big Harry Potter fan, so I kind of enjoyed reading this, thanks.

Interesting similarities I must say...but seeing as how I'm not that big into Harry Potter not much I can say about it lol...

Thats a thought, when malefor mind controlled cynder in DOTD near the end that is sort of similar about what happened to Ginny Weasley. But cynder came back quicker.
