I need a serious answer. about the XBox 360.

Can the XBox 360 be connected to the Internet?

MY neighbor has one that doesn't have a hard drive, and he has no problems.

At Wal-Mart, I was told I'd need a HD in it to be connected.

Anyone know the REAL answer?

ive heard it can be quite easily but i dont know how, to be honest i heard you need soemthing called XBOX live? i dunno if that helps

Yes, yes you do need an HD cable....and Xbox Live is quite easily known as the Xbox's ability to be online.....Its what makes you know that you can VS people around the world.

An Xbox360 needs a hard drive for online ability, and a nice internet cord. Xbox Live membership is cheap, like $5 a month, but some things you download need Microsoft Points, which cost money, but not much, you can buy what I call "point cards" from a walmart for Microsoft points.

Or you can just pay 50$ and you get a whole year of Xbox Live....and I don't think you need a Hard drive for an online ability...I don't know bout that part because my Xbox 360 came with a Hard drive.

...and there called points just points, and all you need is a credit card to get points.

You do need a hard drive for online because you need to save things like your gamertag and download registries.

Just about 3 cables, power cable, HDTV/AV cable, and the internet cable (any works)

oh ok it makes sense now. Also as well as that i heard that they overheat those cables a lot from when i asked my friend on msn about his xbox and hes says the cables overheat a lot.

To get on Xbox Live, you can use a cable or a wireless adapter. You need a good internet connection. You also will have to pay for Live. That's all you need.
