Re: Is Spyro dent proof?
Ok, obviously, falling into oblivion loses a life in the first three, and in the subsequent games back to a save point.
Otherwise, in the first three from Insomniac, falling off a building doesn't do anything.
In Enter The Dragonfly, if Spyro falls off something high, he says "Ow!"
Likewise A Hero's Tail.
In A New Beginning, falling off a cliff or such causes damage.
Likewise in The Eternal Night.
In Dawn of The Dragon, fall far enough off a building or such, headfirst, and Spyro says "Oof" and it vibrates the controller a little.
But no damage.

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?
If you fall in DotD yes you immediently begin to fly...not that their is much to fall from.....falls can't kill you in that game.

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?
So after thinking about it too much, I'm wondering, can he seriously fall down from a castle or something without getting as much as a bump? I've headbutted and fell regularly. Heck, he doesn't even lose Sparx. Lol.
Any thoughts?
Well, Spyro's scales are probably pretty protective, and his wings slow the decent slightly. Compare being a thick-scaled, winged creature to a fat, fleshy Italian plumber, who generally lands on his HEAD when he falls. I remember you could lose at least more than half your health meter in Super Mario 64 if you fell from a high enough spot. <.<;

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?
Lol lets not go into the god thing again, but hang on Malefor must of realised that he couldnt get hurt form falling, and he had all the elements, so it was mabye why he turned evil i guess he thought he was a god.

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?
I was simply saying that because I love how in depth everyone tries to get about this

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?
Well I just get a kick when we try to understand things that are not real and never will be real lol....I mean it's fun to do to a point....and then we come up with all these in depth reasons why Spyro can't be hurt. Sorry I just like to keep things simple lol...and simply put he doesn't get hurt when he falls because that's how his character was designed ![]()

Re: Is Spyro dent proof?
That's why I enjoyed Sparx as he was originally intended to be. A backup role that had some relevence to it....I didn't like him as a playable character...they should have kept him as he was meant to be. I don't mind what he does in LoS...I just wish that he still had something to do with Spyro's health.
