Problem with AVG (Updating)

I think it's due to my internet going very slow for some reason, but it won't "connect with the update server."  Anyone else get this?

Here's a funny bug I found with the Download speed...and my Internet goes NOWHERE near this.

My grandpa said it was most likely a virus doing this, and ironically, the next day it found a worm...but that didn't fix it.  Eh, got my files backed up, I plan to rebuild my computer soon.  Good thing I got a good sized 2nd hard drive. (aka, uninstall the system from my C drive and reinstall it)
