Re: SNOW!!!
Snow is fun, cold weather isn't.
I wish snow was warm.
I second that one.
Yeah, I've had snow for the past couple months now, but it's too cold to do anything outdoors.

Re: SNOW!!!
Here, there's not so much of snow as there is ice. Soo much ice because it's been warming up here and there, melting snow and freezing the resulting water. Really slippery. Inevitably, I fell already once.

Re: SNOW!!!
Psst...New England is all snow...that's right. Get use to snow and rain...and winter mixes...and then driving in it
...we have great amounts of fun over here.....but I don't care so long as I get to snowboard.

Re: SNOW!!!
We get snow about 10 times a year here. Ice and snow were melting. Ice killed our power for a good while here this week so there wasn't much to do other than play in the snow (and sleigh riding was like at roller coaster speed)
Anyhow I enjoy it. We have a big hill in the front and back yard both about 100' long and steeper than daytona's banking. (c. 35 degrees) any how I must ask how often London get's snow (6" stalling city? 1' doesn't even do that here)
If tomorrow may never come, and yesterday is just a memory, then what is today worth?

Re: SNOW!!!
I live in New York. In the last few winters, there hasn't been much snow, but this winter, it's snowing every few days. Guess I get what I wish for.

Re: SNOW!!!
Shows how unorganised the UK really is sometimes. We get a couple of inches of snow and everything grinds to a halt, we're running out of grit for the roads and hundreds of schools were closed. It used to be white over everywhere from November to February. And schools were still open and people still drove around. Now, if the ground gets covered with even an inch of snow, everything stops. Cars go at like 10mph and there's loads of accidents (bear in mind that its mainly due to people stalling or running into the back of someone who was going too slow to get up the hill).
On saying that though, London got 10 inches of snow, more snow than they've had for more than 18 years. Something like 2 feet of snow fell over the Pennies. Not much in comparison to some places, but a lot for here in this day and age. More snow fell in the South of England than in Scotland, which is quite rare indeed.
