Your Method of Division ((MATH))

I was just wondering how others out there do their division problems in math. I happen to have some of my math-format for Division problems here I use:

55 x 2 = 110 R1
48 x 10 = 480 R26
19 x 10 = 190 + 19 x 20 = 570 + 19 x 20 =  380 + 570 = 950 R31
58 x 10 = 580 + 58 x 1 = 638 R12
50 x 2 = 100 R10
59 x 10 = 590 - 59 = 531 R23
70 x 10 = 700 - 70 x 5 = 350 + 70 x 1 = 430 R23
38 x 10 = 380 + 38 x 10 = 760 - 38 x 5 = (8 x 5 = 40 + 30 x 5 =  150) = 610 - 38 x 5 = 560 (38x15 = 570 (?)) 38 X 15 = 570 R2
97 X 6 = 582 R17
145 - 98 = 47

I know it seems complicated and strange..but that's just the way my mind works wink
((By the way that's not all one  roblem, it's different ones on each line, one per line tongue))

Oh god, looking at my old posts on here are absolutely cringeworthy. Hard to believe I made any friends, lol.

Yep, the calculator is the key tool for the people in our generation. I get nervous without my calculator beside me even if I don't need it :-P

Maths, the most stressful, useless, and most painful subject ever made.

Haha, I agree xD
Except when I find out I need to know some math when I'm working with Game Maker.

Re: Your Method of Division ((MATH))

I've always wondered HOW it would ever help me in life to find out that two triangles are congruent. I have no plan to become a carpenter, and even if I did, they have tools for that stuff.

Anyways, I use my laptop for all my mathematical needs, either using the built-in calculator, or using something online.

Re: Your Method of Division ((MATH))

I see a sum, ten seconds later (at most) I see the answer. Now what's a method?

It is often said that before you die your life passes before your eyes. It is in fact true. It's called living.

Re: Your Method of Division ((MATH))

Unless it's simple division, I use a calculator.
But calculus isn't always simple division, so I'm pretty much always using a calculator. :-P

Re: Your Method of Division ((MATH))

Ugh, calculus. Well, math isn't comparatively bad to the greater evil, physics IMO.

Math is used in a ton of applications, and more than just carpentry or whatnot. I don't like dealing with numbers, but I realize that I can't really escape them in any science department.
