Spyrorocks, That banner is getting a little old (haloween2007), don't you thik we should Change it?
I suggest we have a little banner making contest and you award the winner gems, please?

Thats still the same banner with a different theme. we've had that same banner since haloween 2007. Adding a christmas theme doesn't make it "new" or anything, and besides, christmas themes should only be on at christmas time.

I think what ratchet means is the logo on the top of the forums has been
there from haloween 2007 removing the "Christmas theme" it has,
I think what he is trying to say is that we should have a new "banner" now
since that one is so old, and i'm thinking he says that there should be
a contest on it big_smile to see who can make the best one,

yeh well its spyrorocks website and he is busy at the moment im guessing with work, as ive worked out hes either the same year of being born as me or a year after me, either way i know there is a lot of work to do at school when you are 15 i should know its annoying, anyway its not so bad its still winter in other countires anyway.

I was just about to say i wasnt bumping it, i was saying that it was good and i was happy with the banner as it is i got nothing against it. I was saying that its still good for the time of year as its has some winter qualities to the banners such as the snowflakes.

It may have winter qualities. but it still has a CHRISTMAS theme, not to mention its STILL the same banner since Haloween 2007.
As this topic says, I am not asking Spyrorocks to change it or make a new one himself. I'm asking permission to make a contest to change the banner. And If Spyrorocks isn't changing it because He likes it. Then I think that Spyrorocks is not doing his job. many people liked it changed, or wouldn't mind it changed. Of cource, Its not hurting me either that its still there, but i think it would be nicer to change it.

Well as far as I know he is busier then you are....and busier then I am on a regular basis....and seeing as how he is the one keeping this forum ALIVE...and that he obviously sees you are making a big deal about it.....let him finish whatever important matters he has first....and then he will get back to you on the matter.........but I doubt complaining about it will really get you far because the more you complain the more he will ignore you.....but that's just me.

Spyrorocks will change the banner when he dang well feels like changing the banner lol.....all I know is that the more you complain about it....seeing as how he heard you the FIRST time...the more he will keep putting it off...........and I'm sure he would be glad to do it for verious reasons tongue

I'm happy he changed it for Easter and got rid of the christmas one in time for Easter, but its still the same banner. And As I've said and what this topic is about is A Banner making contest. Spyrorocks doesn't have to do anything but approve it and upload it to the forum once the person who won has been chosen. I am not worried about it very much (You dont see me every day complaining), its probably the least of my concern. But i am SUGGESTING that we do something very simple about the banner. All Spyrorocks has to do is type Yes in this topic, I AM NOT ASKING HIM TO CREATE THE BANNER HIMSELF, i think i've made that quite clear.

He is the Admin and all, but I think these days the forum can manage itself.

Right, this is starting to annoy me now. Does it really matter if the logo is changed or not? Usually sites have one logo and stick with it for a while, not change it every two weeks or whenever some member complains about not liking it.

It's just a pointless thing to be getting upset over.
