Re: What Are You Reading Right Now

I really didn't think much of the 3rd it was alright. I like the first one. it grabbed my attention from the start. Unlike the other Dragon books I've read.

Well that's for him to decide....what happens next it in his ballpark...but right now I'm not sure what direction he is heading in. It better be good though....don't want such good books to go to waste.

Re: What Are You Reading Right Now

I liked the first Eragon book. Then Eldest made me want to burn it...SO BORING! 3rd was ok.

On topic: The Sight for the 50th time.

Re: What Are You Reading Right Now

It was so long ago that I read Eragon & Eldest that I hardly remember what happened in which. I remember that Eragon and Eldest were = for me but all of them were somewhat boring in the first 3-4 hundred pages. 5-550 were ok and 600+ were always good.

I'm reading nothing right now other than 5 Fan Fictions. I get lost in all of them if I read anymore.

red I'll move on to one of yours after I finish with Legend's Never Die in a week or so when It's last post comes out.

I'm also writing one right now so I can't do much else and keep talking on this site.

Re: What Are You Reading Right Now

Well right now I'm not working on any of my personal stories. I'm trying to on the side...but I have been working with John on our co-author story...and it's going pretty well I have to say....but yes I would gladly appreciate it if you left me some good reviews big_smile...

I have changed my username from Justin Long Fanatic to EricChristianOlsenFanatic, so Justin Long Fanatic is my old name on this site, and EricChristianOlsenFanatic is my new one.

Re: What Are You Reading Right Now

I'm reading several books at the moment. Mrs. Frisby and the Rats of NIMH (the book that the movie was based on), Dragon Avenger (if anyone wants a great dragon book, I highly recommend this book and the others in E.E. Knight's Age of Fire series), Fast Food Nations for my English class, and Twilight, only because of the horrible things I've heard people say about it, and the even more abundant good things. I'm only on page 16, and so far I'm agreeing with the people who don't like it. I've also recently finished Scott Westerfeld's Pretties, and Norton Juster's The Phantom Tollbooth, and they were both pretty good.

Re: What Are You Reading Right Now

I'm amazed noone had read Temeraire by Noami Novik, incredible good cept I have no idea how to pronounce the name since its in French (the worst language in the world). But I finished the first 4 and have to but the 5th online because seom publishers are hopeless at getting stuff overseas.

And if you want boring tongue then Crossroads of Twilight, 10th book of Wheel of time series or even worse Tess of the D'Urbyvilles (<-- never read this will you will scream then melt from how stupid it is)

I'm currently re-reading Eragon, then plan to re-read Eldest and Brisingr. (All by Christopher Paolini.)
