What if..

A 'spin-off' from Spyro game was made? Like, maybe you were Moneybags; Agent 9; Bentley; Sheila; Sgt. Byrd; Elora; Hunter ... even the Professor!?

So yeah, it's just like a spin-off from the 'Spyro' games, but still has the nostalgia of the original three.

How would that work out? Just an idea, lol. (:)

I think I would like a game called STD - Sparx the Dragonfly:D. The levels would be as the Sparx levels in Spyro Year of the Dragon, but with home worlds and all the things that is in Spyro's world, but in a smaller and different version, so it would work for Sparx:) And maybe more detailed levels and the ability to see the world from Sparx' view or right behind him, like the camera follows Spyro, not only from above.

If that happened I think it'd be a whole different game.

It's only Spyro if he's the main character. You can play other characters, but it has to be mostly Spyro.

I like the idea, but for some reason, I think it would be better on a hand-held game rather than a console.

I remember in this one random game I tried, once you beat the game you get the option of playing as the bad guys.
It was awesome, getting to blast at the heroes.

Hmmm...I suppose I wouldn't mind it...but it would depend on the characters being used...that and yeah I don't see it on a console so much as I do a handheld.

So basically playing as Cynder when she was the badguy....hmm...that could be enjoyable I suppose. Would have to get use to being evil of course....but I think that I would easily overlook that factor.

There's too many what if's in the world. What if the Titanic didn't sink? What if the Hindenburg didn't crash? What if Chuck Norris had never been born? o_O
The point is, we'll probably never find the answer to those what if's.

Dude life is all about what ifs lol....but you can't keep looking back to them in regret or constantly thinking about them. What's done is done and that's the way it is. Very fun to think about however...at least for us fans.

Playing as Adult Cynder? I dunno. That type of game would be pretty violent and evil, killing all the dragons. I dont think kiddies would want to play that kind of game. maybe... But they prefer playing on the good side. And the good side is always more flexible when It comes to variety in gameplay, Which I would defiently like in the next game. Besides the fact that taht type of game wont work, Most Spinoff games actually try to SPIN-OFF the genre the mainstream series is, so In this case, It caant be a combat game or in the originals case, platformers, unless it's a straight platformer (Originals were Action/adventure platformers) or an extra genra (such as combat/platformer).

For a spinoff game to the originals, I would suggest a racing game. No, I do not mean the typical kart racer game, i mean a flying race game/supercharge racing game. Kind of like the Speedway races excpt more flexible and fun.

A spin off? I don't know what I'd think of that. Spin offs can either be really great games if time is put into them, or they can be a waste of your time. It would really depend on whom the game would be focused around.

Although the Cynder idea sounds okay, there are some doubts. The most prominent thing is how to control and combat with an incredibly large dragon. I don't think Sierra would be ready to take that step until they can perfect the kind of combat they have going for Spyro nowadays. <.<;

Well I don't think it would have to involve the old Cynder...because yeah that would be pretty freaking depressing to everyone...maybe something in her newly formed state would be nice...some kind of seperate adventure that she has to take up....and at least we would have the chance to learn a little bit about her past and personality.
