Power is limited, but hope is endless. Take the power from a dragon, not the love.

Do you know the saying YOU CAN BRING A HORSE TO WATER BUT CAN'T MAKE HIM DRINK? Here is a beautiful saying, only for believers. Believers that believe in the gardian of the dragon.

#1: POWER is LIMITED, but HOPE is ENDLESS
#2: Take the power from a dragon, but please don't take the love.
#3: You can torcher a dragon, but the bond between you will never fade.
#4: Rip off a dragon's wings, but it will never stop believing it could fly.
#5: Bones, wings, and horns can be broken, but never can a dragon's spirit.
#6 Wise, knoledgable, and smart. Dragon's can only be happy.

Thanks for following these made up metaphors. On a scale from 1 to 10, how wise were these metaphors? Please respond. The Spirits are waiting...

It seems like you use the word dragon to much. In metaphors a dragon simbalise's great power and danger but you make the dragon sound like it is a human.

I guess you've never read Eragon! Dragons are more intelligent than humans. So i'm gonna say 7, pretty cool! smile

Hmmm... I agree with everyone except 6.
7 out of ten as well. 7.6 to be precise.

Ooh, I have some fun sayings too.

"If life gives you lemons, throw them back at life's face and say 'I don't want f******g lemons!"

or

"If god gives you lemons, get a new god."

If life gives you lemons, urinate in a cup and tell life you made lemonade.

also your sayings would sound more wise with correct spelling and phrasing, one example being torture, as opposed to torcher... though admittedly with dragons torcher may be accurate.

Doesnt matter if its a dragon or human, the important is the meaning.
8,5 for the wise phrases, for who believes, of course. Not my case (not all of them)

Re: Power is limited, but hope is endless. Take the power from a dragon, not the love.

Because you are making dragons sound sequentially higher than Jesus
Christ, I will take off a bit less than 2 points from 10. So I give those [quite
strong!] words an 8.499286. Accurately.

But I really enjoyed reading those, because I really like dragons. Loving
them would be wrong, since they don't exist [aww, I wish they did...].

Maybe God will bless us with dragons when the worthy ones go into
Heaven.

I give you a 5 for effort. The phrases really don't apply to the real world. hmm Wait till' your a teen. I guarantee the fantasy will be painfully crushed.

Id rate a 7 if you were referring to a higher entity. Basically religion is part of the real world if not atheist/agnostic.

Blargh. Good phrases though.

Re: Power is limited, but hope is endless. Take the power from a dragon, not the love.

The only thing preventing me from giving it a 9/10 is the SPELLING. :\

These are... lines that pretty much apply to every creature, but even though the thoughts get repetitive, I still have no objections to its authenticity as life's best aspects.

In the dragons' viewportpoint, this probably makes more relation to the Dragon Soul.

Correct the grammar and spelling, and you get a 9.5/10 from me.

Take it from me -- I've been this forum's dragonmaster once.

...oh, but my dragon-side is more tempered in the heart than in the soul, but I don't biase anything. That's all I can say right now. "Don't take its love" ...? I don't quite get that statement, but the 'skin' of the statement, which is negative, makes me disapprove of it somehow.

How is  "Take the power from a dragon, but please don't take the love" a good metaphore?

Dragons are equal to Jesus Christ, because dragons don't exist and neither does Jesus Christ. The End.

Ugh, how many times am I going to have to say it? Religion is a banned topic on this forum thanks to comments like that that are obviously meant to cause arguments.

This isn't really going anywhere anyway....
