Re: Pepsi or Coke
And I can attest for the fact that all Coke products go out in the same exact method. Nothing is altered and nothing is changed. Again when the product reaches certain destinations...they could make changes to it should they wish...that falls under distribution methods...and I have no idea how Canada does it lol....but it all goes out the same.
K...according to Wikipedia, Coca-Cola only creates the fructose concentrate, in which the syrup is sold to bottlers around the world. It's up to the bottlers to mix the concentrate with water, artificial sweeteners, and more sugar.
So while Coca-Cola doesn't change its formula in producing the syrup, the bottlers who create the final product ultimately DO affect the taste of the drink, depending on the syrup-water ratio.

I prefer orange juice!
But if I really had to choose, I'd say Pepsi.

You are correct that the syrup is sold around the world. That's the point that I was trying to prove. They syrup is sold to the international bottlers who then in turn decide just how to sell it how they see fit. That's what I meant by saying that it is all distributed the same until it reaches its destination with all of these foriegn markets. So very good points Bmah.

Re: Pepsi or Coke
Well Coca-Cola Zero has become one of our most loved products. Many people enjoy it for the no sugar status...or zero calorie approach. It was our largest launch in 22 years...and it is directed towards young adult males...but the taste is vastly different from Classic yes...less sweetened sugar causes that.

Re: Pepsi or Coke
Coca Cola for sure. But there are a couple Pepsi products I like, but Coke wins my vote.
Actually, I think I would even put Dr. Pepper ahead of Pepsi.

Re: Pepsi or Coke
In reference to Spyro_Loves_Me: Well in that case you can double the Coke vote because Dr. Pepper is sold through our company lol..at least in this region of the United States it is...I'm not sure about other places...but here it is under our contract to sell it.
StratosP: Coca-Cola Zero is the direct sugar free variation to Coca-Cola Classic. It is different as you said in certain areas of the world then it is in the United States...it all depends on how the distributers wish to sell the product...but Australia for example does not use as much ingrediants as they do in the states...they use less...and that is their own choice...but that is most likely the taste difference that you sense...Zoro is not for everyone just as Classic makes people feel queesy.
Even I can't drink Classic sometimes and have to downgrade to Zero...but since I like both it doesn't really matter lol...
