I"M DEAF!!
Hey everyone,
I have horrible news, I can no longer hear anything anymore cause I'm officially deaf in both ears. Don't bother showing any sympathy cause I'm sure no one really cares. I might as well just buy hearing aids and look like an old person now..... :'(
I have this really loud ringing in my ears and now I found out I'm deaf forever...... :cries:
I'm gonna just go cut my ears off.....

Re: I"M DEAF!!
My friend, I wil get CGG to pray for you. I just want you to remember that
life can be enjoyed without hearing. Yes, there will be some hard times,
but there are many fun things to do that don't include hearing. Don't see
this as a tradegy, but look at the gains from it.
May God bless you through the hard - and good - times.
I am sorry for your loss.

Re: I"M DEAF!!
That sucks..because you can't listen the music I made
but really, I thought that I myself would go deaf to all the *bleep* loud techno I listen to, not to someone who listens to Spyro soundtracks. Nah jokes ![]()
I feel sorry for you ![]()

Re: I"M DEAF!!
That must suck heaps. My Dad is nearly deaf in one ear and has ringing in it all the time which kind of sounds a bit like what you have but not as bad. I feel sorry for you.

Re: I"M DEAF!!
Are you 100% can't hear a thing or is it just hard to hear?

If you are not making this up, then you have my sympathy. I would hate to lose my hearing, and I feel bad for anyone that loses theirs.

Re: I"M DEAF!!
Wait, wut?
so you ARE or AREN'T deaf?
If you are, That seriously stinks. I have a young friend, who fell down some very steep obsticels when she was very young. Now she has a hearing aid that she connects to her head. But she covers it over with her hair, She is pretty much completely deaf in her ear.

Re: I"M DEAF!!
I'm not deaf, I thought I was but my dad lied to me cause he said I was. He's a smart aleck and thinks he knows everything. I only have a temporary hearing loss due to playing loud music in my ears.

Re: I"M DEAF!!
Or, it's possible that because of all the symptoms that he's heard of going deaf, he simply thought that. For instance, this year, I was experiencing chest pain rather frequently. It eventually got so bad at one point, I was sent home from school because it was believed I was having a heart attack. Turns out it was simply Transitory Benign Chest Wall Pain, something common in kids, teenagers and young adults. Simply put, it was just sharp chest pain that gradually gets worse as time passes, then it eventually goes away at some point.

I believe it's called tinnitus. Well, I am glad that you are not deaf after all. I am not surprised that your father overreacted, as my parents tend to overreact a lot as well (especially my mother).

Re: I"M DEAF!!
Well that's certainly a relief....not very nice of your father to tell you that...but sometimes we overreact when we shouldn't....but at least you know the truth now. Having any kind of hearing condition still sucks though...maybe I should start turning down the music.

Well you will certainly cherish it...I almost find that more cruel then losing it all together...but I suppose you have time to make your peace.
