Winzy!
OK, I know what you are all thinking...
"Spyrorocks has fallen off the deep end. Everyone knows these things are scams.." is what you might be thinking...
Well, here is some info for you, with all my experience with the internet, I have actually found a site that is NOT a scam, but a good way to win stuff!
Welcome to Winzy, the free search engine that allows you to win things!
I know, we all cannot afford a new xbox, or a Ipod, but who says we can't win it? Winzy gives stuff away all the time! From amazon.com gift certificates, to xboxs and Ipods! They even have cash prizes!
All you have to do is use their search engine. When you search for anything, you will receive 1 Winzy point. Each point is like one entry into a contest for a xbox, ipod, cash, and more!
It is a win-win situation. It seems to me like they use the google search engine as their backbone, so you loose nothing when searching. I have been using Winzy for about 3 days now, and it is actually great! There is no spyware or any bad stuff, just clean search results that a chance to win prizes! I use their firefox search extension thing, and it is cool. Of coarse, you could just set it as your homepage.
I finally decided that since people 13 and older are legally allowed to enter and use winzy (and CiC, I have been thinking of you, your dad could signup and then you both could use it
), that I would share it with you guys. It is pretty cool and you have nothing to loose. To test out their search engine, and possibly sign up for FREE, click the Winzy picture in my signature. They will NOT spam you, or sell your email address. They are 100% clean.
If you don't like it for what ever reason, just stop using it. I don't know why you wouldn't like it, though ![]()

Because nothing was said about time consuming... I've experienced some very (almost) realistic prizes that when I hacked into their code, I found out that there are NO forms that has been sent, and therefore even just wasting your time could sometimes be considered scam. Sorry but I'm sensitive about time management. I may want to look at it sometime, though. But the saying 'nothing wrong with trying' usually does NOT apply to the internet.
EDIT: Are they kidding me or something? I CANNOT join:

...they gotta be generous to the third world countries and Asia once in a while, hey! What the...

Re: Winzy!
Their community is still too small for millions of people to become interested in... they can't even carry Asia, OMG.

Re: Winzy!
The only problem that I forgot to mention is that it is only open to north america. Sorry ![]()
Oh yes Zekira, about how you "hacked their code" to see that nothing was submitted in the forums... There is no way to get a prize until you are registered. All of their online forms are submitted to their server.
BTW, link to large pictures. it stretches the page.
Oh yes, and sorry, they don't use google as a backend. they use Ask.com.

I didn't say that. I was talking about that <form> tag or something to NOT direct to anywhere at all; its a blank form, and the <value> buttons link to a SPECIFIC page, meaning there was NO document sent at all.

Re: Winzy!
They use a token system. When you win something while searching, it already knows what you won. when you click on the little button to spin the wheel, it simply calls up a token url that was created for you a few seconds earlier to display your prize and add it to your account. it is unhackable and uses javascript as well for some of the calls from forms so that might be why.
If you don't want to use it, then don't use it. If you what to give it a try, go a head and do so.

Re: Winzy!
I don't have any proof for you guys but my friend won $5 amazon gift certificate that he promptly spent.
Honestly, what do you have to loose? They are a legitimate company. If you don't want to, then don't bother.
