Well yes the popularity of Spyro will drop with the addition of another playable and rather interesting female character. Spyro is still a popular video game icon...but I don't think the addition of Cynder is going to hurt his image too much lol....still the purple dragon and everything...I enjoyed the addition of another playable dragon.

Well it depends...seeing as how I can't go out there and count every single fan lol..all I can do is make assumptions....but in the LoS series...yeah I think Cynder has def become more popular then Spyro...but I can only base that off what I have seen lol...her backstory and attitude really contributed to her popularity...while Spyro was just the usual purple dragon who was destined to save the world lol....

When a secondary character has more popularity than the protagonist, we have a problem. In this case, I think the problem is that Spyro has very little interesting personality in TLoS and is basically a stereotypical, destiny-driven Gary Stu with no flaws.

I guess my favorite character from TLoS would have to be Sparx; I'll admit I did get a few laughs out of his snide little comments. Mainly because they were exactly what I was thinking while playing it. "Oh, good, I was afraid we were going to have to spend the rest of the night without any more DOOM!" =P

Espicially at the end of ANB. He wouldn't stop talking and ended it with "Mom'll make things better....mommy always does!!" xD
And I've had to listen to that at least 9-10 times. Though what I did is just save extra files of Convexity and....yeah... :-P
