there are three things that the new versions of spyro games really need.

HEAD TO HEAD BATTLES!! comon when DOTD came out, i was like "OMG! I WANNA HAVE HEAD TO HEAD BATTLES!" and then i was like "bummer!"

think about it! wouldnt it be cool to like, battle agenst your sister, brother, mom, or dad and WIN?!!!?!?!?! lol!

another thing would be like, CHOOSE YOUR OWN SIDE!! like, there are two stories. the good story, and the bad story. you can choose the good or bad side. and you can be evil cynder, malafor, evil spyro, and other really cool villins in the games on the evil side.

this one i just thought of: A GUARDIONS MODE!!

i really wanna play as one of the guardions... but i cant cause well, they dont have a mode for that. LOL

thos r good ideas i like teh one about going head to head against some1 casue then u could b a range of chracters from LOS like teh guardians, spyro and cynder of course, malefor and also hunter and teh good v evil story thing sounds good as well csue it could b u would do maelfors rise to evil then spyro and cynder crushin his army and then finalyy him lol smile guardians would b good as well however u would b limited i would iek to c wot attacks teh chronicler would do though

Yuk! no thanks! the battle system in TLOS was bad enough

Spyro is not Star wars: Knights of the old republic. your ALWAYS good, not bad!

What's the point? they're just bigger versions of Spyro with only one breath ability

If Ratchet doesn't like something, you can bet he won't rest until half the known world knows it. That's how he is.

I don't know about head-to-head battles, but I think playing as one of the Guardians would be interesting. Yes, they only have 1 element, but they're specialists, they could have more ways to use it, or be able to use it better (wouldn't make sense story-wise, but w/e). They'd also have different play styles, ex- Terrador would be big on close combat because he's an earth dragon who is very strong, when Volteer would probably avoid close-combat and make strafing runs with electricity.

Hmm, having some sort of "Guardian Mode" would give them a chance to flesh out those characters a bit, which I'd like. You don't really see much of them after ANB.

How deep do you want to go? Should you play as the guardians when they are young or when they are old like in TLoS? Hold on a second... you may have stumbled onto something good here.

A VS. mode would be nice but the gameplay is not about being competitive in DotD. I did wish that when Cynder goes Dark and starts attacking that you and your friend get to duke it out a bit. Unfortunately, that might lead to a result of a possible alternate ending and I know that wasn't going to happen.

You have to be careful when planning something because it sets limitations and may make other concepts much more difficult to add.

I think he would likely take a vacation. He'll need it badly after what he's been through.

Mentioning that, I would think his life would be a vacation. I don't see him doing any other jobs besides helping out. I would like to go into detail about it but I don't think some of you would be interested. There's always some sort of trouble with the locals...

You know what the franchise needs? Elora. And Bianca. And all the playable characters from YotD. And Stewart Copeland. And those guys that mooned you in the first game. And Handel and Greta. And Insomniac. Oh, whoopsiedoodles, there goes my mouth again. roll

My nephews own SW: KOTOR (weird abbreviation). I like how you can choose sides, though they have those "reused" graphics. There was one puzzle that really had us confused.

Back on topic... Head to head doesn't seem like a bad idea. I do suppose it would work better for TLoS. Although I'd love to see Elora and Bianca try and rip each other to shreds. Muahahaha... AHH! Go AWAY, evil thought bubble! AWAY!

Well, I don't mind the fact that she has a "dark past." What bugs me is that she CAN'T LET IT GO! I mean, sheesh, they all forgave her except for Sparx. If his little immature comments got to her THAT badly, then, well... obviously she has a very low self-esteem.

I think it would have been better if they had given her a tougher attitude. Why can't she just say "Hey, I was under control, I did bad things. I realize that. But I know it wasn't my fault, and I'm okay now."

I also like the idea of them being siblings. Seems much better than the whole "Yer my heeero! *glomp* *smoochie smoochie*"

I don't know about the whole Crash thing...they did only do that on a handheld version..and I think it would have been far more successful had it been on PS2...but as for other crossovers I'm not quite sure...in order to pull of something like that you need two very successful series that can counterbalance each other pretty well...as for the whole Cynder thing...yeah I think that a non dark version of herself in the original games would have been interesting to see...but something like that is never going to be attempted..seeing as how she was built for LoS and that's where their focus is at the moment.

is there actually a dark coloured dragon in the original spyro series ? becasue come to think of it they r all lightly coloured so perhaps there is one taht could of been cynder bt yeh cynder dosent below in the original series she was a chracter created 4 LOS from teh start as there was no mention of her b4 that

No I don't remember seeing any dark dragons in the original games...so I am glad that they decided to include one in LoS...especially a character like Cynders....but she was def created for this series and its storyline...they have no reason to change anything else...and I just don't think she would have fit in well with the old games. Let's just keep her in the future where she belongs lol..

I don't think that there are any dark dragons in the first story, but I haven't played it in a while... To me, a Spyro story is only Spyro if it just deals with characters in the Spyro universe, unless there was some extensive way that made it alright; like how the Professor brought Spyro to Avalar.

And with a 'Cynder' with a lighter past, that ruins the good amounts of drama required to get to the end of DotD as well as in the beggining of TEN. Besides, who would play Cynder's part if she didn't have a dark past, hmm?

Cynder isn't gonna change at all lol...merely speculating what she might have been like had she been in the original series....but yeah in the end she was a character built simply for LoS...and that's where she fits.
