quality is based on opinion, if they trash something you think is good, then maybe its because they didnt think it was good
i cant imagine they benefit in any way from giving negative reviews to a good game, whereas like kazoobie said, they may give good reviews to bad games if their was money exchanging hands

well i thought the witch wasn't epic villain besides there are always new villians.
for porting over cynder it would be easy just add a back story (hopefully no was used as a tool by dark lords thing)

that is the biggest problem how do u go bak to old school spyro with todays attitude for gaming which is basicly that it has to b challenging and good graphics (wiv teh exception of eternal night as that is sooo easy)

I don't see the problem with graphics, take a look at R&C:TOD it looks awesome so yeah if Insomniac was still doing ti I think it wouldn't be anything less impressive....
I mean come on Metal Gear Solid went from PS1 graphics and take a look at Guns of The Patriots.....
When my dad saw the graphics he thought that it was real people XD
So graphic is no problem.....
Challenge.....the old games WERE challenging, especially some mini-games.....
They can make some of them even more challenging if they want so that is again no problem...
And for Cynder....they can have like a dark world with the dark dragons and stuff where she would it perfectly.....
So yeah there's no problem there also...

I'd like to see just one more good PS3 Spyro game based on the old Spyro PS1 games. And they shouldn't continue LoS (excepting the movie), since Dotd was pretty conclusive.

I've thought about it with Mr. Husband, and we came up with the idea that the dark dragon realm is full of dark dragons, but they're actually good. They might be the opposites of Dream Weaver dragons, for example. Dream Weavers liked to bring good dreams to everyone, but maybe the dragons in Cynder's world share the philosophy that fear is an important motivator, so nightmares and scares might be what they exist for. (since all the dragons in each world seemed to have a specific purpose)
We also came up with the idea that the level design for the world would be a haunted wasteland sort of thing, with dead trees and such everywhere, and eerie music, but the dragons themselves liked to live in caves. And perhaps maybe a huge gothic-like castle with gargoyles and stuff.

You mean the kinda fictional Transylvania setting? Yeah that would work just fine!
That can be like the overworld...
And one of the levels in it can be like what you said a gothic katedral or castle....
And gargoyles can be like the inhabitants of it....

3. the evil villan kills cyner and ignitus
4. the other dragons disapper
5. then they carry on from year of the dragon

*Cynder suddenly yelps in pain and free falls to the plains below. Spyro dives after her and finds her not injured but she is gripping the ground tight in distress.*
