Future Story Direction for Cynder...?

Just curious to see what other members of the forum think of how Cynder's story and character will develop in Eternal Night and other upcoming Spyro games. I have picked several options based on possibilities I thought up, though you might be able to come up with something that won't fit those.

Option #1: Emo/"Whiney": All "Oh, woe is me, I'll never amount to anything good, I'll never be able to get away from what the Dark Master made me!"
Can anyone say "lame, lame, lame!"? I like this option the least. Yuck!

Option #2: Lone Searcher: Like Shadow the Hedgehog in the Sonic series, Cynder would go off on her own in looking for answers to what happened to her and becomes a kind of anti-hero, doing whatever it takes to get the answers she wants.
I don't think this will happen because it would make more sense for her to stay with Spyro, not to mention the fact that she would be vulnerable to revenge-seeking tribes and their leaders (think about it for a minute) and the Dark Master's forces.

Option #3: Sidekick/Assistant: She becomes the loyal sidekick or assistant to Spyro, helping him fight the Dark Master's forces and being a useful member of dragon society. However, this would almost certainly upset a certain dragonfly wink , and as satisfying as that option would be, I would prefer something with a little more pizazz, hence...

Option #4: Pseudo-Purple Dragon: This requires a little explanation. This is mostly #3 with some elements of #2 in it; while Cynder is fighting beside Spyro she discovers (probably from the Dark Master or another of his servants) that even without the Dark Master's power in her, she had been enhanced (through experimentation and training) to an extent that she is nearly Spyro's equal in abilities. In other words, in trying to make her unbeatable, the Dark Master's armies gave her "superpowers" and extra strength, speed, endurance, etc. that almost put her on par with Spyro, even without the Dark Master making her big and bad.
I like this one most of all for it's potential to make a good game storyline, possibly even spread across multiple games.

Well, I like the third and fourth options, but because of how you explained the last one, it is definitely my favorite.

It sounds like a fantastic idea and would make the game so much better in a bunch of aspects! =]

option #5 girlfriend, you cant forget this one alot of people say it wont be in a game but if they can do it with hunter and bianca they can do it with spyro and cynder plus she would help like zelda did at the end of TP so who would change their vote to this

Lone Searcher sounds the best for her, next to Pseudo-Purple Dragon.

Really? Well, I'd say that the best way for her to progress would be for it to be a mixture of each of the choices!

Choice 1. When something extremely terrible happens (Death of a partner ect.) She gets really sad about it, cause they are her only true freinds other then Spyro.

Choice 2. While the stories progress, she wonders about what her place is in the world and how does she fullfill her purpose. It's not quite as extreme as the orriginal of the second choice, but it works!

Choice 3. Cynder cares about Spyro so she is always trying to help him,. but that doesn't mean she's a sidekick! She's his equal! Also, she can be distracted when someone else needs help, making it a little hard if something bad happens while she's gone.

Choice 4. Cynder has her own great abilities and skills. The Dark Master only gives her a fraction of those skills, while the others are things that she discovers as she looks for answers. Such as her ability to use summon magic in my stories.

Choice 5. Cynder falls in love with Spyro, beacause he saved her from The Dark Master, yada yada yada ect ect. Their relationship steadily grows, untill they become very tight. Thought everything doesn't always work out as they hope!

There's a good comprimise between all of them there! It's the base I'll use to construct my stories. smile

sorry to resurrect a dead subject, but i just joined the forum yesterday and was surprised to see the 4th item in your poll suggested. i tend to think cynder could be another purple dragon or at least pseudo .. i thought that before i heard about DotD, but now that she also has 4 breath weapons (which i thought was said somewhere in a new beginning that only purple dragons can master more than one element), i think it also suggest she may be purple/pseudo-purple.
