Right. I know loads of people are always going on about Spyro's dad being Ignitus and I don't think their idea is stupid but I have something to prove that he most likely isn't Spyro's dad

I personally thought that Ignitus would be revealedcas Spyro's faather in DOTD, so he's probably not in my opinion

How do you know Ignitus even knew he was Spyro's father? It's very likely that he is, but he never knew.

Yeah...maybe his partner just dropped the egg off at the temple without even telling him about it....you never really know. I always felt that it would be Ignitus...but perhaps they left it open to be revealed another day. Think that's one of the few questions in the Spyro universe that will never be fully answered.

I don't think it matters who he mated with, it's just a special chance that he is born purple. His mother could have been rainbow-colored for all anyone knows. (Unless of course we go by the old Insomniac theory of how dragons didn't breed and fairies brought the eggs. In that case, he would have no parents and his bond with Ignitus is adoptive.)

By the way, blue mixes with red to make purple.

Well I was just joking about the color thing lol....and the mating thing...I don't really think they will ever tell. I think it's better off that way. Something that is never meant to be revealed.

Spyro: Wat

Ignitus: Well...um... Im your father (looking nervous)

Spyro: Come again (looking confused)

Ignitus: Well... Im your father ( wondering wats going to happen)

Spyro: Thats wat i thought u said ( eyes become droopy then faints and stays asleep for 5 hrs)

Ignitus: Spyro! Spyro! r u ok

Spyro: waking up finally asks y didnt u tell me before now

Ignitus : Well... um...i

Spyro: No im leaving (interrupting )

storms off and starts flying away

Ignitus chases him grabs by the tail and brings him bac

Spyro: NO! NO! LET ME GO! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

After hearing the comotion cynder says wats going on and spyro yells my dad wont let me go

Cynder looks confused and decided to go bac to sleep

Then Igmitus says "Stay in your room until u feel better ok closes locks and guards the door

I can keep going but im stopping right here

lol..well if you could have kept going then write a story about it lol....but I really think we will never find out who his father is 0.0....for some reason I just see it as the question that will never be answered...but who knows...anything is possible.

I totally agree with Razz. IT's very possible he thought that his offspring was killed off before it hatched. And, a purple dragon is a rarity, and could, it appears, randomly be born that way. I still have a feeling that in the movie or something, they figure it out. I'm not saying it will, but I wouldn't be surprised.

What if theres a dragon that lays a variety of eggs every ten generations and ignitus just so happens 2 find spyro's and cynder's egg and he raises them but tells them that he isnt theyre father but after a couple of decades he tells them

i mean like maybe 2 or 3 decades i wonder wat their reaction would be

hey it did say that spyro and cynders egg were together but spyros egg hatched wit ignitus but cynder waz raised wit evil and spyro rescues his long lost sis that he stilll doesnt kno bout

Yes but all the eggs were from different dragons lol...they already stated that Spyro and Cynder are related in no way whatsoever....even supported more by all the scenes in DotD itself lol....not feeling it..

Well the purple dragon is born to normal parents every ten generations and such...so the parents don't have to have any special abilities at all...just do the bad thing at the right time to get a purple result lol...

so If cynder and spyro have a egg would that Destroy the Purple dragon legend or make a Bloodline that would in a couple of generations, a ultimate purple dragon.

I don't know I guess...if they mated it wouldn't be a purple dragon..obviously...but they would create a pretty strong bloodline...but who knows if they next purple dragon would come from their family...actually seeing as how they are the only female and male left at the moment...yeah it would be related to them....I sure hope they do introduce more characters...because I don't want their whole family to have to get with one another to keep things going lol....
