Re: Unanswered question finally answered from DOTD

Yea, DotD left a MAJOR cliffhanger, I know for a fact and it was confirmed on the Sierra forums that the story isn't over. Just don't expect it to be called "The Legend of" anymore.

So yea, I'm with you, so many questions was left unanswered at the end of DotD.

Re: Unanswered question finally answered from DOTD

the film will simply be ANB set to film. i'd imagine there will be a new game to continue the story.. The trilogy is over, but Spyro's adventures are not. Personaly I hope the have co-op again in the next game.. it was fun playing the game with my brother...

Yeah, The film is pretty much a different vversion of ANB, nothing else.
I think it was dumb to leave Spyro on a cliffhanger, Its left us really conused saying "what the heck next?"

Spyro being online would not work, but if you mean online Co-op, then I agree with you!

Runescape, and thats a MMORPG that sucks, lol. Spyro wouldn't last a week as an MMO.

Nah. I don't see that happening. There isn't alot of clear details known of the series both old or new. Nothing official anyway.

I don't know if making your own levels for you to share with the online community would work either... like platforming style kind of levels. I would need to go into depth of this topic to make it more clear.  <_<

Man . . I wish! Sadly Spyro's-Lair is a pathetic substitute. You can't even type your own words and have to choose your words from a dropdown menu!

If they do make a Spyro-ish MMO, being it's own continuity, I wish it would play like Dawn of the Dragon!

Re: Unanswered question finally answered from DOTD

A Spyro online game would be GREAT!! But, it would be good if you could make your own dragon, and just meet Spyro and Cynder, or something like that. tongue

Spyro online would be cool... but what about the Spyro fans with dial-up? They couldn't exactly play because the computer's too slow. I know, because when I had dial-up, it took almost an hour just to get to Spyro's Lair.

Re: Unanswered question finally answered from DOTD

I don't think Spyro online would be very good. It would basically end up with first impressions: ZOMG U CAN MEET SPYRO MUST GO ON!

And then it would turn out to be *bleep* in many ways. I cannot think how it would be good.

Although, having the next game with an online multiplayer option? That could work, arena battles, battlefields, exploration areas, these could work. Not Spyro online, Spyro... with online.

Re: Unanswered question finally answered from DOTD

Hmmm... well, I remember an RPG game that's pretty new, I can't remember it's name, but you get to create a custom character. He (or she) will participate in the main story, but can also go into the online world. Perhaps a couple of dragons, but each level has a different combination? Like in the Simpsons game?

Level 1- Spyro+Cynder
Level 2- Spyro+custom
Level 3- Cynder+Dio

And so on. You see where I'm going, then you have a big old online world where you play custom. I haven't thought about game concept so much for months. I need a lie down.

Re: Unanswered question finally answered from DOTD

Well if they leave a cliff hanger then you get things like this...

and no online would be bad... I have dial-up and it's bad
