This is an ace game! I've completed it. I love the way you draw a circle round a flower and it comes to life. If you don't like the way the things speak on Animal Crossing you won't like the way they speak on this though. Anyone heard of it?

Yes, I found it a nice change of pace form the common way of doing things, highly entertaining. I would recomend it.

I got that game last Easter, and it's an absolutely powerful epic O.O I thought the paintbrush work was one of the strongest contributing factors to this alongside its art style. Absolutely fantastic work.

Okami is, hands down, no contest whatsoever, the most visually beautiful game I have ever played. I can't wait for the Wii version to come out (I had a hard time with the brush on PS2). Oh, and if anyone has finished the game, PLEASE don't spoil it for me. I only got as far as the seashore (haven't even been eaten by the water dragon yet).

Actually, the company that made Okami dissolved shortly after the game's release and the game didn't do well in sales when it was first released. There will likely never be a sequel.

Razz --> I'll elaborate further smile : Clover Studios (name = Creativity Lover) Got shut down by the main company Konami.
Clover made fantastic games, and Okami was definently one of the most creative games - if not the most creative game ever made.
But Clover made games that was so evolutinary, that the ordinary gaming industry couldn't cope with the designs - they simply didn't believe in the furture of the games.
So they never managed to get much publissity as a company, allthough the games themselves (Viewtyfull Joe 1+2, and Okami) got a lot. (And yes, that is odd)

So the conclution?
The short version was, that they were simply too creative thinking to make enough money for Konami - suck doesn't it?

It came out for the PS2 only - as far as I'm aware.

Nope, it's Wii release is/was now official according to some gamer sites that I visit. It's sceduled to come out in spring 2008, I think.

I have that game it is so cool I've beaten it and got all the beads which is really awsome I might get it for the Wii version when it is out
