Re: InuBaka!

What does being a mod have to do with losing someone you knew?
Even if I wasn't a mod, I'd still be sticking up for someone I knew due to a show.
Don't tell me that it wasn't the show's fault, because I know it wasn't. Fine, you go ahead and believe that, but I believe that it IS the show's fault, and I think that it's bad. Just drop it.

[sub]It seemed like you were trying to intimidate me by typing in all caps or something. Whatever.

And you're the one who brought it up in the first place. =/ Answer my question; I think it's a good analogy. [/sub]

Did you ever think that you don't have wings?
Because in the show they got it from they didn't need things like wings or horns, etc to do these "sand power drowning" crap.
SO it's a little different than that.
They didn't believe they were off to defeat enemies or whatever, they wanted to kill a kid that they disliked.
And yeah, I brought it up. Everytime someone mentions that show, I WILL say that I hate it for that reason.
It would be a lot different to you if you knew the person who died.

Re: InuBaka!

[sub]Well, it's basically the same thing. Those kids should have known that no one is able to breathe underground. It's just as much common sense as knowing you don't have wings.

Fine, here's a different one. I read a poem in English class that featured a man staying underwater for hours. People push me underwater and hold me there, and I die. Stupid poem. If only we hadn't read it, I'd still be alive. Makes no sense. =/

If it had been someone I knew, I would have blamed the kids who drowned him and only them.[/sub]

Re: InuBaka!

Okay, I put on fake wings. NOW it's the show's fault.

Re: InuBaka!

...and you know this for certain because...?

I'm sure that if these kids had enough common sense to know that no one could breathe buried in sand, then they would know that killing someone else would get them in a hell of a lot of trouble.

Re: InuBaka!

Alright guys, seriously, I sympathize with anyone who loses a friend like that and I can certainly understand why it would leave a disdain for a somewhat responsible source, but I'm not going to go around blaming it when it was unintentional on its part and calling it evil to people that enjoy it.

I lost a good friend of mine about a year ago because he got carried away by a current on the beach and drowned. Now it's often a bit painful to go to the beach (imagine that when I live in Miami) but does that mean I'm going to preach that beaches are awful killers? No, I'm not.

All I'm saying is that if the sand part of the show didn't exist, they wouldn't have gotten the idea.
The show didn't make them do anything, I know that, I'm not stupid. But it gave them the idea. -__-

Re: InuBaka!

Ooh, that show had fire on it, I think I'm going to go commit arson now, it's all the show's fault.
