Injuries

So, what kind of different injuries have you had? Feel free to discuss them here.

Two years ago I broke my wrist when I tripped over a hurdle in track, and a couple months ago I had surgery on my foot because there was an extra bone there that was irritating me.

Me and my bro and cousin were almost injured once when are older brother got into a fight with some guys who were flirting with the girl he likes we had to pull him back and hold him down it was rough but the good news is that everythings ok and now there engaged yay.

I've had a few, back in (1st grade I think), my dad and I were on an ATV taking a spin down the road I used to live in and I got distracted and saw I was heading it towards the creek, I out of instinct threw my left foot down and it got caught behind the gear-shifter and I got a severe sprain, was on crutches for a week or 2...I hated them though cause I could never walk with them right, so I just crawled around the house until I could use them when my ankle healed enough for temporary walking.

A little further on (2nd or 3rd grade), I was driving a little 50cc ATV and my friend and I were racing (low speed), he had a go-cart so he won, I came around a curve (it was a straight road, but we had to turn around) and I felt the ATV tip some, I kicked it back on it's wheels with my right foot and then I blacked out and was in the hospital, I felt horrible. What really happened was I wrecked into about a 3-4ft drop into the creek, no broken bones however.

Then...in I think either 6th or 7th grade, we were outside at lunchtime around the football field (had a track around it) and I was sitting on the bleachers, it was time to go in and when I started climbing down, I tripped and twisted my ankle into another sprain, had to wear a boot thing on it for a few weeks. (the school had an elevator so I could go still). And 2 years ago in gym, we were playing I think it was bad-mittin for fun and I swung my right arm and it was out of joint (happens, I can do that, but this was unintentional) and I swung and rubbed bone on bone, I thought I broke it but I didn't.

Ouch that's a lot of bad things that happened to you Lancer. Good thing you got better.

Yeah, and maneuvering on crutches was pretty hard; Especially because I have a three level school. They let me use the elevators, but it was a real workout getting to all my classes on time.

I used to bump into things all day (walls, doors, etc) but now I'm a bit careful.

Woops, I just remembered, the sprained ankle (1st post) was 3rd grade and the race was 1st.

Some time ago (I believe it was in May), I tripped, banged my arm into a light post, and sprained my wrist really badly. It sucked.

The only bone I've broken is my pinkie toe. I was chasing my nephews and jammed my foot into the couch. That really hurt.
Usually, I'm not the one to get hurt. Others around me are the ones to get hurt. For example, I ran over my friend's arm once with a golf cart. But it wasn't my fault, really. O:)

Well I don't have normal injuries, I do have week joints and can pop them out, one time I did that when I was goofing around (Football) and it would not pop in. I had too go too the hospital just so some new doctor could say something stupid and shove my leg back into socket. Worst doctors visit ever

I've never broken anything. Earlier this Summer though I stepped on a piece of glass when I was Lifeguarding at an Outdoor pool. Some idiot had thrown glass over the fence and I stood on it. I sat there on the floor and had just pulled out the piece of glass impaled in my foot when right on que a bunch of kids came out and saw that there was a puddle of blood on the floor, my foot was dripping with it and my fingers were crimson with a piece of glass in them. I daresay I gave them something to talk about! What made that episode more memorable was that the Head Lifeguard (who was a complete idiot, I have no idea how he got that job because he's a bit thick. You can barely understand a word he says and I could have done a better job) was stood on top of the slide and was saying 'Why are you sat down? There's people coming in!' I simply held my hand up and his face fell and went really white. It was funny. Not to mention the look he had when I stood up!
Less minor than that I've also sliced my toes on a broken tile at swimming once. I was swimming underwater, just using my arms and letting my feet drag on the bottom. When I got to the end it felt like I had cut my toes on a razor (which I have done before). I lifted my leg up and put my face underwater and as I did the cuts opened up and a little puff of blood came up. The other kids in my lane gave me a funny look as I scrambled out of the water and then thier eyes went wide when they saw that the last two toes on my left foot were leaving a trail of blood behind me! Funny thing is, I never even felt it happen, and I couldn't see a single broken tile, the tiles were smooth as far as I could see....

Too many....

Tore muscle in leg, so had to use cane for a while.
Mutaliated my arm to the point I had to get surgery on it to move...
Shot in the chest. (Not as painful as people may think...or It was bcuase I was in shock O_o)

My last "serious" injury was in third or fourth grade. My friend and I were trying to slide across the playground at school on one of those slide-y things. (I don't know what they're called XD) Well, apparently they were only made for one little kid at a time.... Somehow we both lost our grip and she fell on my ankle. It was horribly painful for a couple hours, then it mysteriously went away before the next school day. o__O [/sub]

Many of the people here got injuries when they were
young. I wonder what that concludes to... (JK!)

-I usually never get injured, but i fell into a cactus when
riding a bike.

-Almost broke my ankle doing stupid stunts on
trampoline.

-Practically broke my gens when I crashed my bike into
the curb 6 or 7th grade. I was trying to pop the front tire
of my bike up over the curb, but since my bike was
heavy, the tire hit the curb, immediately caused the bike
to stop, and I kept going forward. The bar was shaped
like this: () instead of the usual O shape. Practically split
my gens on that bar.

I don't usually get hurt, probably because I have God
watching over me. Oh yeah big_smile

Ummm... I guess the last "major" injury I have had was like in the 3rd grade where we were walking on top of the monkey bars while the teachers weren't looking. I fell off and fractured two ribs. Nothing that serious, just a couple nicks and cracks here and there. I was fine after the doctor freaking bended be back, front and sideways to get me to breath correctly. D': doctors are just horrible aren't they?

Well, I've never had a broken bone or anything. I'm always doing stupid/spaz/idiotic (-.-) things, but it's never happened... Weird.

Ive broken my left pinkie by getting it caught in a fence while i was still running and it looked like a banana. I had to have gas and air......not having that stuff any time soon.

Also i once when i was 10 i was running around, i got pushed over and twisted my leg then i got sat on...CRACK. Guess what happened next.

1. Fell down stairs and did the stupid thing of putting my hands oput in front of me...broke them.

2. My head smashed into my sisters teeth while I was running...blood was everywhere.
