Zanna and Grace had been standing from afar. They were weary of dragons form all the tales they had heard back at home. Grace was nodding her head viciously while smiling, and Zanna shrugged as if saying "Yeah I guess".

Haku starts walking deeper in the forest, "We should be there soon, it's not too far from the lake, since that is the villages only place to get water."

They step into a small village. There are few caves around. Several dens. They even spot some houses in the trees. But the place is empty. All is quiet. "No..." Haku froze.

"We'll find our own place." Zanna argued and walked with Grace over to a house. She knocked on the door. No one answered. She shrugged. Zanna waited five or so minutes, knocking. No one answered. "Uh... Screw this." She ran and kicked down the door.

Scaler watches the group enter the abandoned village. What are they doing?! They should know this is the Dragon's territory! He lets out a faint growl, and slowly flies over to them, making sure not to get caught. I'll give them the element of surprise!

Haku left the house to let the dragon rest. Hmmm, maybe we should have introduced ourselves earlier, I don't know any of their names. He walked over to the edge of the town to collect kill for them in the forest.

Haku froze where he was, not looking back. "Dragon's territory? This was open land for all the creatures of the forest. It was been that way for as long as I remember." It...couldn't have changed when I was gone...could it have?

"So I guess we're stuck with them." Aura sighed.

"Not really. We can leave at any minute." Aurgal responded, "And if they try and stop us....well...you know what I would do."

"Yes, yes I do." Aura said bluntly.
