Scaler sat on a cliff, overlooking the Dragon Temple. He sighs, then looks up into the sky. Why won't our ancestors give us a sign? Who am I? What is my purpose? Am I chosen like my father, or am I just a regular drake with no friends and no clue. He sighs again. "Man, I wish I knew..."

"Well it's nice to see that you'd take your time to explore this forest. You know, there's plenty of different species here, wolves, like me, dragons, dragolfs, humans even, and of course other wildlife." Haku smiled a bit. "If you need a place to rest at any moment I can show you to my cave, but don't worry about it, it's furnished." Haku thought of a human's home in the towns. His cave was nowhere near as comfy, but for a wolf, it was perfect.

Haku gazed behind them, he had heard some dragons, but they weren't familiar to him, and there were quite a few of them. "Mind if I come?" These dragons could be trouble, but Haku wasn't looking for trouble so early in the morning.

"The dragon's are right over here." Zanna said, not turning her head. She pointed to where the three figures were on the horizon.

Essen: I fell from my home in the sky. My wing broke on impact. But, because I'm a sky and air dragon I'm just about useless on the ground.

Sky and air? An elemental... "Well, do you need a place to stay, or will you be able to find a place on your own?" Haku looked up. She fell? I couldn't imagine anyone surviving a fall that big. I can't even 'see' the home. She must be one lucky dragon...or there's something else she doesn't want anyone to know. Haku stepped closer to the wing, examining the wing. Why do I think there's anything mysterious about her, she's injured, and that's all that matters now...

Essen: As far as I know its just a clean break. But I have no idea how you go about fixing it. In the sky, if your wing breaks you fall and die.... As for a place to stay, do you know of one?

"Of course," Haku smiled, "there's plenty of caves and even a small village nearby full of dragons and other animals," he paused, "or you could stay in my cave if you wish, it's large, and..." empty... Haku's smile disappeared. He looked at the ground for a bit.
