Re: Hurricane Season 2008
Wow! I can't believe this hurricane season... my step-son suggested the global warming might be becoming out of control.... first Gustav then Hanna, now Ike and Josephine! oh what are we supposed to do?!?! It looks like Hanna may hit where I am in South Georgia! D:
(PLEASE CLICK MY EGGS & HATCHLING?!?!?!?!?!)
Global warming isn't a proven fact and isn't causing hurricane seasons to become active. Hurricane seasons go through active periods. 2006 and 2007 had hardly any tropical activity near the U.S.
Tropical Storm Hanna will make lanfall in South Carolina tonight as a possible category 1 hurricane. It will then race to the North East and become extra-tropical.
Hurricane Ike is expected to slowly weaken as it approaches the Bahamas. It will then regain strength and become a category 4 in the Gulf very close to Florida.
Tropical Depression Josephine is very weak and will not be a threat to land.
