Have you ever noticed that spyro's outer features have changed form game to game? Do you know exactly what feaures have changed? Tell me!

Heh, he's gone through so many physical changes that you could probably But it hasn't really changed much after every game. Just from Insomniac to Krome to whoever else.

i think the main differences are between old spyro and TLoS, his snout is now more elongated, his bodies proportions seem exaggerated a fair bit ie. skinny waist with a huge chest, also i think his wings are getting bigger

Yeah ive noticed that he looks different in different games, particularly in the snout.

The differences between the two Spyros? The original Spyro is sleek in design and actually looks like a dragon, while the new Spyro is ugly as *bleep*.

actually i think the new one is technically "sleeker" whereas the original was more squat and chubby, im not saying the new one isnt ugly, or that the old one is

The old one was a little more lizard-like, in his movements, and looked sort of like that too. No, I'm not saying he didn't look like a dragon, he did, but when you look at the way he moves, especially when he walks up hill, it reminded me of the lizards I'd seen crawling about.
The new one...more reptilian, kind of baby alligator-small doggish in the first two, and now he looks pretty much...well, just like a dragon. The main differences I can tell between them is the wing size and the faces...Urgh, there's too many little details.

Try and tell the differences from them (Yeah I know the ANB and TEN ones aren't very good quality, but I posted them all in a rush so I couldn't be bothered finding the best res ones.)

Well, they have four legs, two wings, two horns, one tail, one head. Breathes fire (original) or uses four other elements (LoS).

Both fit the same description of dragon.

New Spyro looks edgy, but I think the Insomniac one looked chubby.

there are obvious differences between all the spyros (mainly original and TLOS) but to answer your question i have 2 reasons:
1.The companies wanted to create a new model for every game and no model looks the same, Original Spyro's look mainly changed because his graphics were updated (think, the difference between Mario in SMB1 and now).
2.with TLOS, the developers wanted to Reboot the series and give it a fresh start, meaning changing spyro's look completely.

I'd saythe main differences between TLOS and original Spyro are:
1.Different shade of purple (Original was a bit more blueish)
2.Belly Scales (Original Spyro's was alot longer and had more "lines")
3.Nose (Originals was more of a snout than a nose, like a dog while TLOS is a square nose not connected to the mouth)
4.Wings (TLOS wings are bigger and have duller colour than originals)
5.Head Shape (Original and TLOS spyro's are way different)
6.spikes, scales etc (TLOS's have alot more dull colour like a cream while Original has a yellow colour)
7.Spikes on head (Originals is more spikey and longer)
8.Eyes and Eyescales (Original Spyro's eyes are smaller and are purplish-blue while TLOS's is obviously purple. Original Spyro has Eyescales {Eyebrows} while TLOS Spyro doesn't)

I find them both the same weight though (ANB and Spyro 1 Spyro).

The only really difference I noticed quickly between the original Spyro and the new one was the eyes: The first Spyro had large, dark purple eyes, and the Spyro in TLoS has light, shiny purple eyes.

Strange thing to notice, but that's just me...

i think cause in the old games he was only a kid of a dragon then as the series went on he started growing up into a more adult teen dragon smile
