Ivypool dipped her head to Silverstar and walked over to the gorse tunnel.

"Hey! Ivypool!"

Ivypool turned around to see Lightningstripe running towards her. "Hi, Lightningstripe! Is something wrong?" she asked the pale she-cat.

"No, I was just wondering where you were off to." she said.

"I was just going to the Moonstone."

"Mind if I escort you?"

"No, not at all! Come." she said as she headed out of the gorse tunnel with Lightningstipe hurrying after her.

Ivypool looked at the eager apprentice. "Well... sure, you can escort me. But only if your mentor says it's okay. Just remember that you can only come as far as Fourtrees!"

OOC: This is turning into the old forest... oh well. ^_^ I don't really like the lake anyways.

OOC: Havn't gotten that far... only on book 3 in the new prophecies.

"Is this young apprentice harrasing you Ivypool?" Silverstar joked walking up to them.

"Can I go with Ivypool please!?" Darkpaw pleaded. Silverstar cast a glance at Ivypool.

"Is it alright with you?"

"Go on then, Darkpaw." Silverstar waved a paw. "And Lightningstripe, you need to learn to be patient."

"Yay!" Darkpaw bounced up and down with joy. "I'm ready Ivypool."

Ivypool's whiskers twitched with amusement. "Let's go, then." she said.

Lightningstripe padded alongside Ivypool, her senses alert for any sign of prey. Maybe I can make it up to Silverstar by catching a rabbit or two. Lightningstripe opened her mouth, trying to catch a scent. Squirrel! She looked around and saw it sitting at the base of a tree. She began stalking it, when her paw snapped a twig. The squirrel sat up, looking around. Mouse Dung! Lightningstripe thought as she hissed in frustration, which caused the squirrel to run up the tree. Lightningstripe raced after it until she found it preparing to jump to another tree. Quickly, she killed it with a swift bite. She was just preparing to climb down until she caught sight of the view. "Woah... I can see Fourtrees fom here!" she exclaimed.

*Marlstorm, along with the others, was making her way back to the Camp. She had dug up all of her kill and some of Ivypool's. As she strolled into Camp she put her Fresh-kill with the rest of it and then settled down near the High-rock (where it was shady) to wash her fur*

"Good day, Marlstorm. I see the hunt went well." Silverstar padded up to her.

"Really!?" Darkpaw ran up the tree and sat beside Lightningstripe. "WOOAAAHHH!"

Marlstorm: *Inclines her head respectfully* That it did, Silverstar....... *licks a paw and washes behind her ears* There's no sign of any other Clans. We could smell them all, but the scent was stale. So our borders were clear....... It's very quiet around here...... Where's Darkpaw gotten to?

Hawkpaw came back to camp with a vole, and dropped it in the fresh kill pile. She looked around for something to do.

"He's off with Ivypool, but he should eb back before sunset." Silverstar said.

OOC: Ivypool went to Highstones with Darkpaw and Lightningpaw (they went with her as far as four trees), the cats hunting came back and Silverstar is talking to Marlstorm.

"What's going on? Lightningstripe? Darkpaw?" Ivypool ran back to where she saw Lightningstripe hunting the squirrel. She looked up and spotted them in the uppermost branches. Sighing, Ivypool raced up the tree and found them gazing into the distance. "Do I have to look after you two?" she teased.

"Look at this view, Ivypool." Lightningstripe said as she beckoned her forward with her tail.

"Now is no time for sightseeing. If you two continue to gaze at the sky, I'll have to-" Ivypool broke off as she caught sight of the veiw. "Oh no.." In the distance, Ivypool could spot dark storm clouds gathering.

"There can't be a storm! I have to communicate with StarClan!" she exclaimed as she raced down the tree. "Come on, you two! We need to hurry!"

"Didn't you see those storm clouds? I need to talk to StarClan, and I can't do that if there's a snow storm!" she said as she raced towards Fourtrees with Lighningstripe right behind her.

Meanwhile... Silverstar could sense something was amiss. She glanced up at the sky and noticed it was getting darker. I hope Ivypool can speak to Starclan before the storm rolls over. She thought.

It wasn't too long before Ivypool and the others reached Fourtrees.

"Thanks for escorting me, you two, but it's just me form now on." she meowed.

"Are you sure you'll be alright?" asked Lightningstripe.

"Yes.. I'll be fine. You just make sure that Darkpaw makes it back to camp." she said as she waved her tail goodbye and plunged into the bushes. Lightningstripe sighed.

"Well.. you heard her. Let's get back to camp."

Lightningstripe purred with amusement. "Okay... but I'm going to win!" she said as she bounded after him.

Ivypool walked through WindClan territory. Oh, please don't let there be a patrol! she thought.

"Hey! You!"

Ivypool stopped and looked around to see where the voice was coming from. She spotted three WindClan cats racing towards her. Oh, great! she thought as the three cats came to a stop in front of her. The biggest one came up to her and sniffed loudly.

"ThunderClan! I knew it!" he exclaimed. "What are you doing, trespassing on our territory?"

Ivypool snorted. "Oh, Silverstar decided to send a one-cat raid on your camp." she said. "I hope you don't mind."

The large cat snarled, which the smallest one stepped forward. "I think she's here to spy!"

"Spy? On you boring furballs? You wish! Why would ThunderClan send their Medicine Cat to spy?" she asked.

"Medicine Cat? I don't believe it!" the large one said. The she-cat, who was the only one who hadn't spoken so far, cuffed the large cat's ear.

"We're sorry to have disturbed you. Please, continue." she said as she backed away. Reluctantly , the other two backed up as well, allowing Ivypool to conitnue.

"Thank you." she said politely as she bounded past the patrol and continued her journey to highstones.

Marlstorm: I thought it was quiet around here..... Though by the look of those clouds it won't be quiet long....... *her ears flick up at the sound of Darkpaw running through the gorse tunnel* Speak of the devil...... *starts washing her tail* He won't shut his gob all evening......

Lightningstripe burst through the gorse tunnel, panting. "You're.... pretty fast..." she said in between breaths.

Ivypool looked up at the sky. Thanks StarClan the storm hasn't come. She gazed at the Thunderpath that was up ahead. "My least favorite part of the journey..." she muttered. Slowly, she walked over to the edge of the Thunderpath. "Not many monsters around... I guess they're scared of the storm, too. Quickly, she dashed across to the other side. "Not much farther now..." Ivypool looked up at the sky. The storm clouds had not gotten much thicker. "It looks as if the storm won't come tonight... thank StarClan."

Hawkpaw looked up at the sky. "Woah! Storm clouds? That means that Ivypool cant talk to Starclan....Thats bad.." She walked over to the camp entrance.
