Actually, you're both wrong. Pokemon did not come out before Digimon but Digimon came from an earlier manga that had no relations to Pokemon whatsoever, IIRC. So there wasn't any intended imitation.

According to wikipedia, the first one-shot Digimon manga was made in 1997. The original set of Pokemon games came out in 1996.

Beats pokemon id say. My favorite series was season 3. With Takato and Guilmon, Rika and Renamon, and Henry with Terriormon. Fave digimon is prolly Either Renamon, Guilmon, Dimedevilmon, or Veemon.

I havent been online much cuse of work and school but once i saw this topic i was like WOOT!!!!!!
