Meanwhile back at the base Peach was sleeping on Mario's lap he was holding her hand Sonic was right beside them "I wonder if there ok something is bothering me like some tough villans might come" "I am sure there fine said Crash" smirking Mario and Sonic and Link had rescued him "Yeah your right Crash I just hope" sighed Mario but smirked after Meanwhile Malefor used his ice breath and electric breath from his left paw to shock Rouge and Knuckles he used a earth ball from his right Spyro stopped it with a earth beam.

Hunter fired arrows at him and it stopped Malefor for a while Cynder used her Shadow Breath to cover him in shadow "Score one for us again Rouge Knuckles look out" said Sparx Malefor flew out of the trap and straight at them.

Knuckles grabbed Rouge's arm and sucker punched Malefore in the jaw.

Malefor froze time with Dragon Time he made a shadow cloak and knocked Spyro and Hunter and Cynder to the ground with a wind blast he used a water wall and a ice piller to trap Knuckles and Rouge "Relax Knuckles and Rouge this will be painless he smirked evily approaching them.

Malefor used a electric breath to zap them then earth and ice his nostrals flared he fired a large jet of flame the traps exploded and they were burnt and injured badly Malefor whiplashed Knuckles then bit his leg.

Malefor let go "This is the end red boy" he held his paw up suddenly a lasser beam came flying at him Malefor was knocked out instantly Skuller appered in front of them. "Rouge and Knuckles I have finally found you and now since your week I can kill you" he drew out a black and red sword and smirked.

The time unfroze once Malefore was knocked out. "Not now. Not ever!" Knuckles flinched.

Spyro used all of his might and combined all his elemments and Cynder to and Hunter fired arrows they used one big Fury to defeat Malefor they all passed out tired. "Man" said Sparx he had helped to and fainted. "Your all alone" Skuller held his blade to Knuckle's neck "So should I do this fast or slow my old foes" he smirked.

"It wouldn't be right to defeat an enemy if they're in no condition to defend themselves." Came a voice. Suddenly, Reaper came and kicked Skuller off of Knuckles. Saturn came flying down also.

"How did you get here?" Rouge asked.

"Well, once they took out Malefore, the portals reopened."

Suddenly Zerk appered he now had six heads. "Err Rouge and Knuckles I will kill you mark my words it is my destiny" he and Zerk disspeared.

When they were back at the camp, Knuckles and Rouge were being patched up. They lay asleep. Saturn and Reaper were talking.

Master Hand and Peach were fixing them up "Nothing to bad you guys well live but it appears Skuller will do anything to kill you and that worries me" said Master Hand. Mario and Peach looked at them saddly.
