*The Dragon glows even brighter and squints its eyes shut, the process speeds up and the SK's body turns into gold dust starting from his tail and working its way up. It travelled like water soaking through a paper towel*

Dragon: You were decieved...... Dragons make mistakes, the ones that made you did also....... They underestimated you, they didn't treat you fair. But they also made you corrupt, your ego is too blind to see even in the face of death. I admire your determination, but this is where it ends....... *there was only the SK's head remaining now*

Celerity: We won the fight...... But not without a price....... *looks around at the destruction. Most of the Dragon Temple had been destroyed and the landscape was scarred. The whole world had been corrupted by the SK and millions were dead.* It will take a long time for the scars to heal......

Celerity: Yeah, tell us why someone would want to create him.....

Dragon: Very well, I will tell you. There was a clan of dragons which thought it would be easier to expand their territory if they could create a weapon. They experimented and eventually were able to create giant, mutant scorpions. They also created a much larger one, with more powers, this was to be the Scorpion King of which you know. This clan used their 'weapons' to destroy any dragons they chose. The scorpions were good at their job, too good. However, being sentient beings they grew tired of being controlled. They began to wonder why they were being used and soon took on the view that they must be being used because dragons were weaker, they were inferior, to themselves. So they betrayed their masters, they obliterated them. But it didn't stop there. The Scorpion King began to take on the view that dragons were a waste of space, therefore they needed to be irradicated....... That is how they developed their mission. In a way, you can't blame them, they were used and it was unfair. But, the Scorpion King became too greedy, too arrogant. And he also over-estimated his own powers and strengths. Just now, before I stepped in. He was trying to get rid of all the air surrounding the Planet. A move that would have also killed himself........ *the Dragon grimaced, as if in pain*

Dragon: Aye...... *The Dragon opens it wings wide* You may wish to look away from me, things may get a bit bright around here........

*The Dragon glows gold again. The Dragon builds and builds energy, it finally releases it and a shockwave of gold and silver light radiates outwards...... Gradually things turns green again. The ground writhes and slithers, repairing itself. The Temple, in the blink of an eye, is restored. The Sun emerges from perpetual darkness and a breath of wind sweeps across the newly-grown grass. Clouds billow forming majestic peaks and the welcome sound of bird-song fills the air. Celerity looks around and smiles*

Celerity: Thank-you *turns to face the Dragon* You have sa- OH MY GOD! *There was a great open wound on the Dragon's chest. However it wasn't bloodey (deliberate misspelling). There were a few layers of skin then all there seemed to be below it was a bright silver light*

Dragon: It was a necessary sacrifice....... I will regain my flesh again....... But well out of your lifetimes. Besides, I will still be around...... After all, I am the elements. *Another 'wound' becomes visible on the Dragon's cheek and it seems to be struggling with something* I will always remember the way you put your lives on the line in order to save this world. In my travels there have been others that have done the same...... I have rewarded them as I will do to you all now......
