Devi: It's Kurayami's mark. Apparently when we changed history, we inadvertently made it where Kurayami's mark is much more powerful. Probably because of the fact that because Deathwind never corrupted Akuhei, and Akuhei didn't interfere with Kurayami's ministrations, that means two things. The first is, Malefor wasn't killed by Deathwind, so we'll have to deal with the DM all over again, and second, Kurayami was able to take the seal to the next level without Akuhei's and Malefor's interferences.

OOC: Actually, CR does have a point. Antr's done this several times in the past.

Devi: I don't know of any way. Even the elders couldn't suppress the mark for long when they brought him back to life, it was gone, but then it resurfaced.

You disrupted the time line!â€ Erekutorikku shouted angrily â€œHow could you do this?â€ Aisu asked her, in a different to Erekutorikkuâ€™s. Nanami growled â€œMy sister was in trouble. Now I didnâ€™t ask Lex to bring you dragons here to annoy the crap out of me. Fix this problem!â€ she pointed at the mark. Kamisama walked to Seraph, he closed his eyes, Kamisamaâ€™s paw lightly resting on Kurayami's mark â€œI am trying to heal it, tell me if it worksâ€ he asked Devi.

Devi: *eyes widen in fear* Nanami, Lex, we've just walked into Kurayami's trap! Seraph never got the chance to fight Kurayami's soul and take it into his own, which means that he's still alive!

Kurayami: *cackles* How observant of you Devi. *turns to the elders* Although I intended for Seraph to be my tool to destroy you fools, this is much better, as I get to do it myself. *turns to Nanami and Lex* And I couldn't have done it without you!

Devi: *growls* You'll never get away with this Kurayami!

Kurayami: Oh but I already have. The mark is much stronger, and I can activate its affects at anytime, including, for example, right now!

Seraph: *screams in agony as the mark takes control of his body, turning his white scales to a gray color*

Kurayami: I now have control of Seraph, and this time, it's much harder to break.

Seraph: *with what little control he has left* Guys... don't... don't let me become his tool. End my life... now! It's... the only way... to end this mark!

Devi: No... Seraph, we can't... there has to be a way to stop it!

Nanami gasped â€œOh noâ€ she whispered, she snarled darkly at Kurayami â€œHow dare youâ€, she lunged at him, â€œNO NANAMIâ€ yelled Lex, as he rushed forwards but Erekutorikku stopped him â€œWe need to fix Seraph firstâ€ Aisu spoke softly, she blowed on the mark, hoping to freeze it.

Kurayami: *smirks and smashes her side with his tail* Face it child, you have no chance. You're just an inexperienced whelp compared to the rest of the elders and myself.

Devi: Aisu, if Kurayami's controlling Seraph with that mark... he may try to have Seraph kill you. Keep your distance, this wouldn't be the first time Seraph was able to kill an elder, he was able to kill Akuhei after all.

Devi: *sighs* This'll probably cause a time paradox but... the thing is, we went back in time to prevent the evil spirit, Deathwind, from existing in this timeline. Deathwind was responsible for corrupting Akuhei, and Akuhei attempted to take Nanami as his bride, even though Nanami and Arcane loved each other. When Kurayami placed the mark on Seraph, Akuhei and Malefor interfered, preventing Kurayami from making the mark stronger, and Seraph was able to fight Kurayami and subdue him, unwittingly trapping Kurayami's soul and his powers in his own body. Akuhei abducted Nanami and Seraph gave chase. When Seraph found them, he and Akuhei fought to the death. Seraph killed the then corrupted Akuhei, and Akuhei tore Seraph's heart out of his body, killing him. Eventually, Lex, Scorpion and I went to your home, and asked if you could restore Seraph back to life, as his job wasn't finished, because Deathwind was still alive. Arcane destroyed the dark and light orbs, tearing the Universe, and Deathwind, apart, and we fled to the past to prevent Deathwind from existing.

Kurayami: *causes the shadows to grab Nanami and Lex* If you thought Akuhei was trouble you two, you've seen nothing yet.

Devi: But, since we prevented Deathwind from existing, that means that the events concerning Akuhei never happened, and he should technically be alive. But, doing so also came at a price. Since Akuhei never interfered with Kurayami's ministrations, Kurayami was able to make the mark even stronger, effectively being able to turn Seraph into his slave using it. And... because Deathwind never betrayed Malefor, Malefor is still alive.

Seraph: *is struggling to fight Kurayami's mark* I... won't give up. I won't let... him... control me! *the mark starts to fade from existence for unknown reasons* *laughs* You know, it's ironic, really. The surname of our family, Kage, it means Shadow, yet I'm able to harness light.

Devi: *smiles* That is ironic, actually. You're also the strongest of our entire family. Our father always told you to be more like me, but actually, he should've told you to be yourself, because that's the only way you can truly discover how powerful you are. Your power doesn't only come from our family's heritage, but it comes from your heart, and the fact that you have friends to help you. That's what makes you poweful Seraph.

Seraph: *has a calm look on his face, and the mark shatters completely, allowing his true power to come forth, a strong amount of light forming an aura around his body* Only light can stop Kurayami's darkness. Light and darkness are forever counterparts, locked in an eternal battle. Ironically, one cannot exist without the other, yet... we already have an elder of darkness, Akuhei. Kurayami is one part of darkness too many. *walks towards Kurayami calmly, and uses the light from his aura to banish the shadows that are holding Nanami and Lex, freeing them* This is my fight.

Seraph: None of your tricks Kurayami! It's time we end this!

Kurayami: *laughs menacingly* I couldn't agree more! *manipulates Seraph's shadow into a corporeal form* What are you going to do now? There's no elder of light to guide you, in fact, there's no elder of light at all, and there's no way you're strong enough to be one. You're up against a former elder, you're finished!

Seraph: I may not be an elder... but you're still mortal, just as all elders are. *surrounds himself with light that forces the corporeal shadow to return to its original form*

Kurayami: Not bad child, but that's only a small demonstration of my power!

Devi: *turns to Kamisama* No elder of light? I don't understand. Everything needs an opposite to keep it in balance. How can there be an elder of darkness without an elder of light?

Seraph: *is completely calm* You think to break my resolve by intimidating me. It won't work. *focuses on Kurayami and uses the aura of light around him as a source* I'll show you just what I'm made of! *creates large beams of light from the aura and sends them at Kurayami*

Devi: *in utter shock* He's never done that before!

Kurayami: *is hit by the light and staggers back* Im-Impossible!

But Fate has chose Seraph to take my placeâ€. â€œWhat will happen to you?â€ Lex asked Kamisama smiled â€œMy time is over, same as Mizu-san and Faia. Nanami, you will now rule as the Elder of Water.â€ As he spoke, he started to disappear â€œWait! I donâ€™t understand!â€ cried Nanami as she watch the Elder faded away. â€œBye my childâ€. The voice was barely a whisper â€œFATHERâ€ Nanami shouted but there was no reply. The other Elders gasped, â€œNoâ€ muttered Aisu, Faia appeared, he licked her, she looked at him with surprise â€œAisuâ€¦ I have alwaysâ€¦always loved you. Please keep our son safeâ€, he too started to disappear, Aisu cried out for him but it was too late. She started to cry, a black cloud appeared, â€œAisu, Erekutorikku and Gurasu. Prepare to take Lex and Devi awayâ€, Akuhei muttered. He looked at Devi â€œBe safe, you are next in line of being an Elderâ€. Akuhei then turned to face Nanami â€œQuickly, follow meâ€.

Kurayami: Insolent child! *creates a cloud of darkness that starts to pull Seraph in*

Devi: The Cloud of Death!? Seraph, get out of there!

Kurayami: Hah, it's no use, nothing can escape the Cloud of Death!

Seraph: *still completely calm* That's where you're wrong Kurayami. Have you forgotten the abilities of the Kage family's blood trait so soon, considering you were a member of it?

Kurayami: Wh-what!? What are you talking about?

Seraph: Kurayami Kage, the very founder of the Kage family. You helped to build the village that the Kage family swore to protect, and then you tried to seize the position of leader of the village. You also sent the demon that attacked the village, using your permanent Eyes of Death, didn't you?

Kurayami: *his eyes become red* So, you've finally figured it out. Also, your brother didn't kill the family because he wanted to, it's because the Kage family decided to try and conquer the village. The village had Devi as a spy, and had him kill the family to make sure the village was safe. He didn't tell you about the Kage family's treacherous intents because he wanted you to see it as an honorable family.

Seraph: *has sunk into the cloud and only his head remains outside of it but is still eerily calm* Then it's time to redeem the family's name. Eyes of Life! *uses them to teleport out of the Cloud of Death* It's time we end this!

Kurayami: Indeed it is. Earth's Shadow, third level! *a cloud of darkness surrounds his right forepaw*

Seraph: Heaven's Light, third level! *a very bright ball of light appears in his left paw*

Seraph and Kurayami: This is it! *rush at each other*

Lex noticed her belly grew since the last he saw her â€œYouâ€™re pregnant!â€ he was clearly shock, Aisu nodded, letting her tears fall. â€œYes, he is Faiaâ€™s child, and the new Fire Elder, but he doesnâ€™t receive any teachingâ€. Erekutorikku watched her, he put his paw on her shoulder â€œBe strong Aisu, your son needs itâ€, Aisu nodded. Erekutorikku glanced at Gurasu who was watching Seraph and Kurayami â€œDevi, you will be soon the Elder of Darkness. It doesnâ€™t matter about the age but the knowledge of the element. Your brother is powerful and so are youâ€. Erekutorikku nodded â€œDevi, Gurasu is rightâ€ he stand sill, eyes close for a few seconds then he snapped out his eyes â€œQuickly, lets leave now! Akuhei has given Nanami the Water Crownâ€ the other Elders smiled, â€œShe is a strong one, isnâ€™t she?â€ Aisu said quietly, Erekutorikku laughed gently â€œShe is the daughter of Kamisama. Of course she is strong and Mizu-san was her mother.â€ Lex widen his eyes, And your half sister Lex Akuhei told him. â€œWHAT?!â€

Devi: *turns to look at Seraph and Kurayami one last time, whose attacks now collided with each other's* This is going to become a battle of wills. Their attacks were just as strong as each other's, so now they have to fight for the dominant will to decide which attack will land on the opposing force.

Kurayami: *gaining the upper hand over Seraph's will* Give up, you can't win!

Seraph: I will never give up! I will never allow your evil to spread! *pushes back Kurayami's will, leaving them on equal ground*

Devi: *turns to Erekutorikku* There's one thing I don't understand. If Kurayami was the previous elder of darkness, and Akuhei took his place... why hasn't Kurayami faded away like Kamisama, Mizu and Faia did?

Kurayami: *smirks* Quite right, it is over! *smashes his tail into Seraph's stomach*

Seraph: *the wind is knocked out of him, and his concentration is broken*

Kurayami: *takes advantage of the weakening of Seraph's will and completely takes control, Seraph's Heaven's Light fading away, Kurayami's Earth's Shadow hits Seraph square in the chest, sending him reeling and crumpled to the floor* Pitiful, just pitiful.

Devi: *growls* That was a dirty trick!

Seraph: *groans in pain* What's... the matter? Too... afraid to fight fairly?

Kurayami: Oh come now, if you think that all fights are fair, you're more naive than I thought!

Seraph: You asked for it... *creates a blinding flash of light*

Kurayami: *shields his eyes* Ahh! My eyes!

Seraph: *rams into Kurayami* No holding back now!

Kurayami: You... you were holding back!?

Seraph: *smiles* Maybe, maybe not, who knows?

Devi: There's also something else I'm curious about. If Lex's father is Spyro, and he's Nanami's half-brother, does that mean that... his mother is... was, Mizu-san? But... I thought elders could only love elders!

After that, Mizu-san found Kamisama and it was true love.â€ Aisu stopped talking; Gurasu finished the sentence for Aisu â€œJust like her and Faiaâ€. Gurasu glanced at Seraphâ€™s fight over her shoulder â€œEnough for talk, we must go. Hurry!â€ Erekutorikku nodded, grabbing onto Lex while Gurasu grabbed Deviâ€™s paw â€œReady to fly?â€ she asked him but not waiting for his answer.

Far away from the fight, Akuhei leaded Nanami inside a dark cave â€œCome!â€ Akuhei whispered impatiently, Nanami narrowed her eyes at him â€œHow can I trust you?â€ she asked suspiciously, Akuhei groaned â€œBecause it was Death Wind how took over my mind. Now, please Nanami follow me!â€ Nanami slowly nodded, not trusting him completely. She followed him to a chamber with was decorated with the prizes of the Elders. â€œNow you belong with the Eldersâ€ Akuhei whispered was he passed a small box to Nanami, she looked at him then the box â€œWhat is it?â€ she asked but before he answered the cave begin to tremble â€œNANAMI, GET OUTâ€ Akuhei shouted, Nanami ran quickly, Akuhei following her.
