Is my cat...

pregnant? Her stomach is getting stiffer and she's getting fatter. Everytime I try to touch her belly, she hisses and bites me. But when I do touch it, I can barely fell little lumps.

I can't take her to a vet though. Any ideas?

Re: Is my cat...

just wait about a week or two and if her belly keeps getting bigger you should take her to the vet, and have you seen her with any boy cats or does it go out in the day?

a) i dont know that anyone here is a vet
b) you should take it to a vet, whats stopping you?
c) have you talked to your parents

and

d) if youre not a breeder why is your cat not fixed, im sure its not the law wherever you live but its just common sense, more so with cats than dogs

Re: Is my cat...

I used to live were there is a heck of alot of cats, (and kittens. XP ) and, of course there were always pregnant cats. And, since yours is getting fatter, and it's stomach is getting stiffer, etc., yes, she IS pregnant. = 3 (I know from experiance.) Have fun with your new kitties when they come!

Re: Is my cat...

If she's eating enough for 4 then probably if she's laying down and sleeping a lot then most likely
and if she's favouring a area around cloth or something like that then good luck

Re: Is my cat...

That's what I thought about my hamster once so I just waited a month and then she died =[. She just kept getting fatter and fatter, and then she died. I know hamsters aren't that close to cats, but I suggest you contact a vet if you can't go to one.

Re: Is my cat...

I agree with Cyro87 if you cant get to a vet then its best to contact a vet, there is about a 50 50 chance that your cat is pregnant, just keep on watching her and if she just keeps getting larger and larger then i would really suggest that you go and see a vet or contact one, if your cat looks sick aswell as getting fatter, then you have to see a vet, i hope the best for your cat and hope that she will be fine soon.
