Big Problem!
I am trying to post my Fan Fiction series in the fanfic forum, but there is a major problem. I am copying from a word document, which probably has something to do with it, but when I preview the story all the punctuation marks turn into something like this!

how do I fix this?

you could through the story and edit all the numbers and change them to the little marks you want (")

ok then have you tried saving your story in a different program like notepad or wordpad and the copy and paste from them?

Ž · I had the same problem with my previous computer, but this time it was the Ž character, nd it turns out to be some sort of that format, too. I think what happens is that the computer can't send the correct character info and therefore uses the octadecimal code instead of the character itself.

I just remembered something:
The problem only shows up when I press preview or submit; it is just normal in the typing window.

save your file as a notepad text file and copy from there. it should work then.
