What would you like to be when an adult?

I was mowing my lawn...and well i had the thought that all people are asked and didnt see a thread on here about this, so What would your job like to be when you grow up.

When i was thinking i was thinking of how creative i am...i have a large imagination, and also know a bit of things others dont...So i finaly decided i might want to be an author....

I want to be a DJ for an Alt station, especially Alt Nation on Sirius radio.
Or I want to help set up for bands. =]

I wanted to be a game designer, but that honestly looked to hard to me. I would be an Author and maybe a game tester...hopefuly...

After my book Demon Kingdom:Rise of the Riders is done ill start a single novel about a boy that is taken by the Government to area 51 and its his story about how he tries to escape and what happens when the information of what is happening there gets loose...

haha, I've seen some of what they do and it seemed kinda hard for me at first (and I know it will be, my com. art tech. teacher even told me it will be hard) but I've decided (and I hope I dont have any second thoughts) that I really want to do game art and design. smile I love horror games A LOT (as well as fantasy games) and I think it'd be cool to work on some.

First and foremost I want to write a book and be a published author, I'm not currently worried what kind of book. I may start off with kids picture books (hopefully illustrating them myself) but would then definitely work up to full novels.

However, being realistic and understanding that you need something special to write a book/series that will set you up for life (blast you JK Rowling) my back up plan is to go into graphic design, preferably illustration but again its a bit of a long shot so I'd settle for signwriting/advertising etc.

resident evil is survival horror, but it is horror anyway, so yeah...

I originially wante to be an author, but my enthusiasm slowly drifted off that, these days i want to be a game designer, but everyone is convincing me that i'll never be one and that i shouldn't be one. Atleast my dad WANTS me to get involved in IT!
But yeah, i know how difficult Game designing is.

I plan on being a composer off to the side. I don't think I could do that alone b/c I wouldn't get paid enough. Unless I got up to where Hans Zimmer is ...
If I'm going big, I'm looking at stuff like Broadway or a big symphony orchestra or chorus where I can get a lot of money rolling in.
And if that all fails, I'll probably be looking at engineering or something. I've still got a lot to think about and only 1 year to do it.

Yeah, you usually do most of that planning your junior year in high school. That's when all the college emails and letters start coming in talking about your future. I have a huge stack of letters sitting next to my desk ...

ill work for jagex

its not that stupid, it would however come under the same kind of category as computer programmer, i dont know what else youd be doing working for jagex besides programming for the game. i guess theres customer support and stuff but i dont know how much youd enjoy that, just because the company makes games, doesnt mean everyone who works there enjoys their job
