Re: [Feedback] "Adult" references on this forum
"*" can be a wild card. Unlike "?", "*" can symbolize any amount of letters. Because of this, "Feedback" would be censored if you added "F*ck" to the filter.
Perhaps you should add "F?ck".

[sub]"Feedback" isn't censored anymore, so there's not really a problem. If people decide it's a good idea to bypass the filter, they can get banned. Just the actual word should be enough; if it wasn't, there'd be a nearly unlimited amount of entries in the filter.[/sub]

I couldn't help but laugh.
Anyways, back on topic. By the time you ban someone, the damage would've already been done.

[sub]Heh, good point. XD But I really like that quote.... ![]()
True. Which is why I suggested being able to hide reported posts from public view. [/sub]

How about the Blogspot system? If enough users report the post, it becomes hidden. That way, users have to agree on hiding the post and not one user can go trigger happy.

seeming we will never regain the moderator status again
Seeming?
I think we could earn it back, though if we learn from our mistakes.
(Discussion on Spyrochat made me think that way.)

[sub]It's not really our job to try to "earn" anything back. Spyrorocks will make the final decision as to who gets the mod position, if anyone. It's not really something we should be worrying about.
Learning from mistakes, yes, but if the only reason you're doing so is to be promoted as a moderator, I'm afraid you'd be wasting your time. That's not the point of a forum, to try and act mature so you'll be promoted. The point of a forum is to discuss a common interest with other users around the world; it's much more than closing threads and banning people. I'll admit I'd be thrilled to have a mod position, but if it's not to be, I'm OK without it.
I think this thread has served its purpose; no one seems to have anything else to say about the actual topic. Close, please? [/sub]

That's not what I'm saying.
I'm just being myself.... I don't need that...
