Roller Coasters
Do any of you ride roller coasters? Tell of your experiences here!
I've ridden the 2nd tallest and fastest coaster on Earth. Top Thrill Dragster.

TTD goes 0-120mph in less than 4 seconds then goes straight up 420ft.

I'm not scared in the slightest of roller coasters or any thrill ride.

I never liked roller coasters. I rode one last summer. Might have something to do with my fear of heights. -__-

Re: Roller Coasters
I'm the same as you DFOKN, I don't get scared on them either. I get a bit nervous before I get on but then when I get on and sit in the seat and when it starts I go: "Oh S**t....." and then smile just about the whole way round! I don't scream much, if ever. I haven't been on very many though, mainly because I haven't been very far outside my own area. I have been to Flamingo Land and go on all the big rides when the fair comes to Scarborough. But thats about it.

Re: Roller Coasters
DPX, It's more likely to your furniture to kill you than for you to be hurt on a roller coaster. You face a 1/6 chance of being hit when driving. It's more likely that you'll die of chewing gum then to get hurt on a coaster. Parks check the ride several times before the park even opens each day.

Re: Roller Coasters
I've been on a lot of roller coasters, and I haven't even been scratched from one yet.
Seems pretty dangerous to me.

Re: Roller Coasters
You might enjoy one called Velocity at Flamingo Land then Jorn. It doesn't go high up at all but basically what it does is you turn around from where you board with revving noises echoing (the seats are shaped like bikes). Then it stops for a random amount of time, all of a sudden it blasts off at 70mph and when it does takes a pic of your reaction! Pretty cool for a small theme park in an isolated area!

Re: Roller Coasters
At 80ft onto ToT, Spyromaster330, and 20mph more and you have Top Thrill Dragster.
Wow, that looks pretty thrilling. I have never been on a roller coaster because I have always been afraid of heights, I'm sure it is more exciting than scary if you give it a chance. The closest thing to a roller coaster that I have ever been on is this ride, it is like a coaster just that it goes up and down like a hill, not in the air, and it's on top of water, so there is a lot of splashing.
You HAVE to get on a coaster. A good majority of people that ride are scared of heights. That's part of the thrill. It's completely worth the wait and once you've done one, you never want to stop. You'll love them!

Re: Roller Coasters
Wow, Farenheit looks awesome! Kumali at Flamingo Land is similar to that one, but not quite as long and your legs are dangling on that one. How the heck did that person keep hold of the camera/mobile?!

Farenheit is nothing compared to Maverick at Cedar Point. Farenheit isn't all that great...

Oh, well as I said I haven't been out of my area in terms of rides. I haven't even been to Alton Towers, so yeah......
