well, see, i had this little fan fic idea, he doesnt STAY dark XD it ends happily.....and like i said, my inspirational momments arent always good XD

and YAY!! i gots an ignitus puppy big_smile well....not really.....the coloring is way off and yeah.....but its just a picture i took of him, it reminds me of ignitus smile

oh, and Ignitus will always be an ideal father ^_^

Okay, sorry, that was a bit mean of me to shun your idea so quickly hmm . It's just that I tend to not be comfortable with those kinds of ideas when it comes to Ignitus (words can't describe my level of attachment to him ;_; ), and furthermore... well, someone used a similar idea once regarding Ignitus. And he handled it... very... VERY poorly. Actually, the whole fic was handled poorly. That's why I was rather quick to reject your idea. I'm sorry about that hmm . I've actually had a somewhat similar idea for a while now, but it involves SPYRO going evil (against his own will though) and Ignitus beng the one who helps him turn good again (I won't spoil much here, but I can do so in PM big_smile ).

Okay, tell ya what, since I feel bad about before, why don't you tell me in PM what your idea was, and I can tell ya what I think? Then you could try writing it if ya want to/feel it's good enough, and maybe I could give a few pointers on writing (lol, listen to me talking, as if I'm some sort of expert...). I'm curious as to what your idea was (you said it would end happily, so...), and now that I think about it, you'll definitely do better than the person I mentioned. After all, you actually LIKE Ignitus.

And the first tip I can give applies to anyone - no matter what kind of fic you're trying to write, make sure you put thought and effort into it. Pretend as if they're your own characters that you worked hard to create. I honestly really hate it how most fanfic writers don't put any effort at all, and they treat the characters like dirt(of course, there ARE exceptions - like me, Aang, Razzek... etc.). Treat them with respect, and most important of all, just do your best. From what I know about you, you seem like you'd do all that, so that's why I'm willing to hear your idea smile . You can PM me on this forum, or on dA, wherever you like smile (if you want to, that is).

Also... if I said anything odd/stupid in the above post, it's because I sometimes lose my train of thought when making really humongous posts like those @_@.

And again, I encourage you to try to write your idea, Nikore smile . I'd love to hear what you had in mind.
