Re: Username Changes
On a little sidenote, I don't really know if I should change my name to just "Doppel" or keep my long name...
How about we re-enable this for a trial, then implement the things I said for just a trial?

If members don't constantly abuse use of username changes, I don't see a problem.

Yeah.. And the (planned) gem payouts will limit it.

Re: Username Changes
I know how you feel Spyrorocks. I used to run a forum about 2 years ago. It may seem that 1 username change is an easy fix but when you start getting more and more requests a day, it gets annoying.

Re: Username Changes
Well, that could be like this:
100 Gems: Spelling, Caps, Typo and Spacing Fix. Like "aguiluz" to "Aguiluz" or "Cristal" to "Crystal" or "Dogyg" to "Doggy" or "Asmo_Vestor" to "Asmo Vestor."
1,000 Gems: First Username Change
5,000 Gems: Second Username Change
10,000 Gems: Third Username Change
15,000 Gems: Fourth Usename Change
20,000 Gems: Fifth Usename Change
25,000 Gems: Sixth and SEMIPERMANENT Username Change(Semipermanent = Permanent for 400 days from username change.)
Also, there must be a lag time of six months before changes.
The 100 Gem fix can be used as many times as appropriate, and newly registered users can get it at 10 Gems only if they somehow misspelled/miscased/typo errored the username.
That's what I said.

Re: Username Changes
Why? We can also turn down requests.
Or, how about we do this ALL FOR FREE? What's the big deal!

Re: Username Changes
You have no idea what a pain it is to change usernames. You cannot do it automatically. The Admin has to do it manually which is VERY annoying when you get a lot of requests. It should be at least 25,000 gems.

Very annoying? I could go to the mod panel and edit out annoying sigs and don't give a quack about it. The username field is a little up there.
Costs about 30 seconds. No worries!
5,000 gems is enough.

How about if all the name changes are forwarded to me? Or... Maybe not.
**EDIT**
Why did Spikey Pink's name turns to "Spikey the Dragoness?"

Spyrorocks, did you eliminate the "short post" thing? If you didn't, how did you post something that short?
