What got you liking Spyro in the first place?

The first Spyro game I got was YotD. I played it then I was abig fan and now I have 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6, and I plan on getting every game for the Playstation & Ps2 there is in the series. :'D

My sister used to visit me every summer, and she always brought her PS1 with her. She had Spyro 1,2, and 3, so she let me play them. big_smile

Well, a LOOOOONG time ago, I watched one of my older cousins playing Spyro the Dragon. After watching, I begged my dad to get it for me. When I got it and started playing it... I got hooked!!! I've been a Spyro fan ever since!

I was just in a rental shop looking for a game when i was about 6 and i just like the look of the case so i got YOTD. I really enjoyed the game so yeah.

Well, my cousin had a Playstation demo disc and it had a demo of Spyro the Dragon on it. I loved it and asked for it for Christmas.

I love dragons. My friend actually recommended the games to me, she said that it was so fun. So I bought one and played it, AND I LOVED IT!!!!!!
So now I am determined to get and play them ALLL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My friend Cedric bought the first game. He knew I was a Crash fan and told me I might like the original Spyro game. Long story short, I very much did! ^_^

Over the years I fell in love with the game. Mystery, ecstasy, and the will to finish the game all were little to what I had for the game. MY friends found other games as they had finished playing the game but I started to rent many of the games to continue the story.

I grew up with the fantasy of dragons looking for anything related. I often put myself down for it because I wanted to be smart in science. It was not until three years ago that I actually gone into reading Eragon.

When it came about that I still liked Spyro so much the game of Spyro the new beginning came out and I bought it. Played it and loved it and once more my obsession grew.

Over the time that has passed by my two friends Callen and Garret grew up to let themselves be changed by everyoneâ€™s views. One day I was at my church with others there enjoying the Friday night playing games on the game councils that the church owned. My church was actually popular for this.

I was playing the game Spyro the new beginning and the teens beside me played lord of the rings. they happened to look at my TV and told me that it was a game for young kids.[glow=red:401a6f1641] All this came to a shouting match. Everyone outside the room was too busy having fun.

My heart sank at their words. I was young at heart and I had no desire to change who I was and a stupid person beside me had to put me down for the fact that I was playing a simple E-rated game. I never was into gaming for the graphics.

I am listening to Metallica at this vary moment. The best song that could fit my emotions. My friend of misery.

He told me that we were young and that I should let it go but this did not change anything. Betraying me he left me in the dark room of my own misery.

I abandoned my love for science and technology for the hope to write a book. I am still writing it and my parents question weather it is good for me to be so secluded from the world. I am starting to hate science and technology for the fact that it is self promoting. The technology club I was in gave up robotics and out of everything else that happened to me these last three years I look up into gods eyes and prey that I can be accepted for who I am. What plan does he have for me I still donâ€™t know.

I still look back at that time and tell myself that it was only careless words. If you read thus far i thank you for your sympathy. Just because I am seventeen does not mean I donâ€™t have feelings. I am happy that there are other people close to my age on here that I can talk to.

2. The Legend Series had a great story
3. Gems are pretty and collecting them if you are a dragon is fun

what got me to like Spyro in the beginning was the first time i played the demo on playstaion. ever since then i fell in love with Spyro and i still love him.

Well, my mom got me the first Spyro game. I was terrified of video game controllers until she brought home Spyro the Dragon. After watching my mom play(my mom's still big on video games, go figure)and my brother play, I had to try it at least once. And I was hooked.

I played AHT on my ex g/f's XBox .. then got stuck into the mobile games such as TEN, that's where I found out about Cynder so that left me wondering who Cynder was ... until I got my PS2 where I now have AHT, TLoS ANB & TEN .. and waiting on DoTD to get here !!!

Mind you Spyro and Cynder aren't the only characters I like smile Ya gotta admit even though Volteer's a bit weird he's still a great character smile

The first time I saw Spyro 1 in a store, I was annoyed by the way he was raising his eyebrow like that. Then, sometime later, I saw the game in a friends house, and got very curious about it and had to borrow it. Then I got addicted ^^. The colors were awesome and Spyro was so cute. And the overall concept was so imaginative. I had to get my own ^^.

Well, it all started when my sister was playing Spyro 1. I was like, " Whoa, that looks so cool! " And I just had to play it. When I did, I played it for ages, and to this day I'm still a great fan of Spyro.
